No problems at all! This is a replacement battery that's (as far as I can tell) identical to the original that came with my Panasonic camera. It seems to charge just as quickly, hold a charge just as long, and fit the camera the same way. Zero complaints! Highly recommended if you want a real OEM backup battery rather than a cheap imported copy of questionable quality.

There has been much publicity about off brand battery failures. Some with catastrophic effects.
A few pennies more spent for name brand replacements or backups is money well spent.

Got a couple for my DMC-TS1, which chews up batteries fast. Too bad the camera will only take Panasonic batteries, but that's not this battery's fault.

If you have one of the new Panasonic cameras that require a genuine Panasonic certified battery, this is for you. This is the real thing, and is fully accepted by the 1.1 firmware in my new FX-580. I tried a Hong Kong import and it was not accepted by the camera. Play it safe and get the real thing.

Teenage daughter used this in the Lumix DMC-TS1 on a choir tour of Florida. Battery held up well taking lots of pictures and HD movies. Much better than the no-name knock-offs sold other places. [...].

As an OEM battery replacement for Panasonic Lumix TS1 (among others), it is priceier than 3rd party products, but it's performance is first rate. Fast recharge time, holds charge well and runs the TS1 for over 200 pictures plus some video.
