BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I was impressed at how much this thing pulled from a "Clean" area rug. The battery is only good for about 10 minutes but we are only doing quick clean up and 10 minutes is more than enough. It would be nice to be able to purchase a second battery. Still, a 3 hour charge isn't bad.

I can't believe this cordless vacuum is almost as good as my upright. I do wish it pulled out to be a hand-vac, so I could do my couch and stairs-I guess that's my next purchase. I have 3 shedding dogs and it picks up the hair from my wood, tile and even carpets. You won't be sorry with this purchase!

Best product for my purpose

I own a black and a yellow lab. The floors need vacuuming daily. We have an exceptional canister vac but now only take it out every 2 weeks when the cleaning lady comes. This vacuum has the power to do quick clean-up easily. You won't find anything faster or better for less. I looked!

An extremely well designed and thought out battery powered vacuum cleaner. Cleans rugs and hard surfaced floors equally well. Battery lasts a reasonable amount of time and the discharge curve is flat (vacuum remains strong) until the battery discharges.
