i use this bowl with smaller mixing needs..cakes cookies beating egg whites etc. my 6 qt bowl was too large for smaller mixing needs,only wished i haDd ordered it sooner

This works great with my "Copper Lady"... 6qt KitchenAid. I can do two-step recipes or more than one project now without washing inbetween. I think the whip works great for anything except dough... I just use the big bowl for that.
