All in all a good TV for the price. I have another Sharp LCD TV that's why I went with this brand again I was very impressed with the first one. A few things on this set that I would change. No recall button on the remote to recall the last channel that you were watching. The volume is either to high or to low at the lower settings, there is no in between. The on-screen channel label that you can set yourself needs to be a digit or two longer for better descriptions. DVD player works fine, have only used it once but was very easy to use. Picture is good and the size of the screen is perfect for a bedroom or office. The set does make a lot of cracking and popping noises while it is warming up after first turning it on.

Poor Image a Disappointment

This TV was a great disappointment. The image quality was extremely poor. We tried and tried to get clear color and a crisp image, but were unsuccessful. We finally decided to return it for a refund.

Using it in the gym. Doesn't have the best viewing angle, so I'm glad I got a swing arm wall mount. And the speakers can easily be drowned out by the treadmill, so it has to be cranked up. Still, a very nice package. The manual didn't cover how to remove the stand connector (had to remove the both sets of 2 big and 2 small screws).

Bought this to replace a Sharp 19"LCD w/DVD in our bedroom. Picture is great, amazing detail and contrast and the size is perfect for our room. The sound is more than adequate for a bedroom, no trouble hearing it at all.

Perfect size for the kitchen, I like how the screen has that "dull" finish on it. It doesn't reflect images like a mirror while the picture is dark. The controls are pretty basic, however, I sure do miss that button on the remote that flips directly to the previous channel. Changing channels has a slight delay, and the screen goes black for about a second, but that's no big deal, because when the picture comes on, it's gorgeous. I am using the set's built in tuner, and it pulls in the over the air HD channels nicely. Sound quality is very good. I actually haven't used the DVD yet, but I'm sure it is as impressive as the TV itself. [...]. All in all, This Sharp TV is exactly that.... SHARP.

So pleased to get rid of the VCR with the built in DVD player. Excellent picture quality and very easy to use. Replaced a smaller, older TV and now I can read the foreing film captions on my Netflix movies. Very good value for the money.
