We needed a counter depth fridge for our kitchen, but did not want to spend $2000+. After searching for a cheap version, we found this model. I wish I would have found more reviews on it, but there weren't many. The fridge side is small, but is still fairly adequate for everyday use. However, if you are planning a party, or holiday get together and you need lots of space for items..this fridge will not work. Also, the items on the door shelves do not seem to get very cold. When I turned down the temp, they were colder, but then some items on the shelves froze. The freezer side is very disappointing! Now I know why they didn't show any pictures of it. There is only one small drawer/basket on the very bottom, and it is shallow (pretty much a half drawer in depth). The rest of the storage is shelves, which slide out too easily. Sometimes they come out when just sliding items in and out of the freezer. The door shelves are also very shallow. You can really only fit one frozen chicken breast in each one. We are considering getting a chest freezer for our garage, because the GE freezer holds next to nothing. The water dispenser continues to dispense water after pressure is applied to the lever. The ice maker sprays ice all over. I'm not impressed at all, but I guess you get what you pay for! I would not buy this fridge again! Abt was a great company to deal with though.
