I didn't find it faster than other irons. I don't know that the ceramics are quite up to metal yet, but it's a good iron and I'm happy with it. Linen and thicker cottons take just as much effort as any other iron. Water reservior is quite sufficient. Good weight and well made.

Use 3-4 x a week. According to manual. Good:Non stick and easy glide.Less than good: The maintenance requirements are a bit tedious and the actual heat/efficacy on a lower level than what I am accustomed to with my other irons.However this iron is far superior to other steam models I have tried in the US

I bought two other irons before this one - neither of them put out enough steam to allow for wrinkle free clothes. This Panasonic iron, while admittedly rather odd looking, is terrific. the steam output is excellent and it maneuvers very well. I am quite pleased. The only negative is that the water reservoir is small.

The design of this is great, it makes you wonder why it wasn't done before. I guess if you think about it, in colonial days they had double pointed irons heating up in fireplaces.This iron produces ALOT of steam on the high setting. It is replacing a Rowenta that never did that wellBecause we have well water we use bottled distilled water.

Very nice iron. I like the heavy base. Does a great job on my cotton pants. Steam is very good. Not sure about the claim of 25% time savings, but I do like the bidirectional base shape. My only criticism is that the handle and top of the iron are plastic that seems a little cheap to me.

This is a great iron which produces a lot of steam. With one swipe, wrinkles are gone even from linen. After all these years, it is hard to adjust to using the back end of the iron which is just like the front end...but it can be done, and the iron just does a fantastic job.It produces a lot of steam, and seems to require more water than I was used to, but I am sure I will adjust.This is a good, solid product. It makes ironing easier because you just have to go over any space one time.
