Perfect product but...

Perfect product. Apple "Special" Accessories needed however if you want to watch video on a televison. My previous iPod plugged right into my DVD/TV no issues. This new 3Gen is a perfect product but you need to buy the proprietary AV cables ($50)which check the ipod as opposed to an after market one $(7). You cannot use the old docking cables. The apple store explained it as a chip in the connector now. (nice) Also if you want a remote when you connect to the TV, you need the Universal dock. I hate having 2 remotes and my Logitech Harmony remote will not sync with this, but did on my old ipod. So that kind of sucks. It's however with the AV cable great for travel and you can plug into may hotel TV's.

This was a birthday gift for my adult daughter who is also an artist. Not only does she have music on this, she has also used it as a portable portfolio for pictures of her jewelry, comic book, photography and paintings! I think that the I-Touch seems to be a very reliable and instinctive produst. Wish it had a user adjustable equalizer and would play Divx files. Otherwise I have no complaints and it is worth the money.

Great Ipod

This ipod was very easy to use and it had a nice sleek design. The only problem I have is I wish the sound quailty was a little better, like in earlier generation ipods. Also, I wish that the battery life lasted a little longer, but nonetheless still a great product.

Hugh storage capability. Very easy to connect to accessible WiFi spots. Simple process to download music, videos, apps, etc from the iTunes store. Very good picture quality and sound (with headphones). Biggest drawback is battery life. I don't use it continually throughout the day but I normally have to recharge at day's end. If I used it a lot during the day, I think I would have to recharge 2 or 3 times a day. Not a big deal, just a hassle.

Disappointment

The Ipod touch is the most overrated MP-3 device on the market. I don't know why people are going crazy over the Ipod. I rate MP 3 players in according to how they sound and the quality of the screen when it comes to pictures and videos. The Ipods are some of the worse sounding players out there. The thing that's selling them are the APPS! They have excellent apps...however, you have to go thru Itunes to get them. If you are a person who appreciate the great sound of music, you will NOT buy an ipod....you will buy a Cowon. If you like Apps...buy an ipod. last but not least going thru itunes to do EVERYTHING is a big HEADACHE!!
