Smart, sleek product with many features

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

The Nano is great for listening to audiobooks and music. I love its many features and its small size & weight. I think it's great that there is an option to set an upper limit for the volume, and that each audiobook will leave a bookmark at the place where it was last paused. I was a bit disappointed that audiobook transfers take so much longer to an Apple device than they do to an MP3 player. And the controls were a bit confusing initially -- there was a fair bit of trial and error, as the manual provided gives only the bare bones of the instructions. But on the whole, it is an excellent, sleek, and (thus far) reliable device that does pretty much everything I need it to do! After experiencing unreliability or a lack of durability on other players, it was definitely worth making the leap to the iPod.

It's an Apple... so it's the best!

This is the best version yet. Video Recording, FM Radio, min. 8GB storage, great colors. The most minor of gripes I can come up with is that it's actually so sleek it seems to be hard to grab sometimes (which is why I recommend the Silicone Sleeve for protection and grip!), and the battery seems to last slightly less than before, otherwise it's the best, and I would still recommend it to anyone with 5 stars!

Use the IPod on my threadmill and workouts are longer and more fun. It has helped me increase my speed and duration. Grandchildren assisted in set-up and I am learning all the features through their young eyes and ears.

Great features especially the new video camera(very clear!) Battery life is shorter than I expected, but my previous iPod did not have a radio built in!
