I've only had this phone for 2 days and so far I really like it. it has a lot of cool features and the camera is great. I love having the touch screen and the full keyboard always avaliable. The only issues that I have with the phone so far are some kinks in the messaging software, i'm hoping LG will be able to repair these with a software update. When using T9 you cannot backspace to change a word. eg. if you want to write 'save' the first word to come up is 'rate' by hitting next it gives you 'save' however if you hit space first then back up to hit next and change the word it does not change it. You have to delete the whole word and rewrite it and hit next. Also, if you are writing a text on the inside screen using the full keyboard and you close the phone to use the touch screen the message closes to drafts it does not remain on the screen like it does when you go from using the touch screen to the inside screen. Other than those two issues I've had no problems with the phone, they just bug me a little because I use the phone mostly for text and they def stand out as issues to me. But overall I would recommend this phone.

I decided to purchase this phone last year, March 2010 and have had problems with it ever since. I've had to replace the battery twice and the entire phone once. It was a great little phone the first few months I had it but then it just turned into a huge pain. The touch screen isn't very responsive and the built-in camera is not easy to use at all as it uses flash and the flash is literally blinding. The pictures do not turn out good at all. The graphics are ok, they aren't great and when taping video, very rarely does the sound get captured. I would, however, give this phone 5-stars on its QWERTY keyboard that flips out when you need to text message someone. The keyboard is very easy to use and fits even the biggest of fingers easily - very rarely do I make a mistake when typing. It has some good features like a tip calculator, a calendar, and the option to set the ringtone to vibrate only which comes in handy when I'm at work. Overall, I would not recommend this phone. The charger is very sensitive, too sensitive, and breaks very easily. The screen goes out all the time and the battery dies very easily. LG is a great company but not for this phone. Go with something else!

Comments about LG Verizon Wireless Black Cellular Phone:

I have had this phone for about three years. It is a good transfer phone for people that aren't sure about a touch screen. This has both touch screen and full inside keyboard. I got this phone because it has two screens, figured this way if I ever broke one screen I would still have the other. Recently I have had issues with lighting on the phone going from bright to dark and it likes to randomly shut off with a full charged battery. Overall, it was a great phone but I think it is getting to the end of its life.

Comments about LG Verizon Wireless Black Cellular Phone:

I wanted a phone with advanced features and a big, beautiful touch screen without paying for a data plan. I got this phone about a month ago and it's perfect. The screen is wonderfully responsive, the menus are easy to navigate, and it's great being able to put shortcuts on the home screen. The speakers are loud enough for listening to music, but I also love the option of hooking in headphones (standard 3.5mm) when I want. Multitasking while listening to music is great. My only complaint as far as music goes is that if I get a text while listening to music, the music stops and won't resume until I close or answer the text. This is solved by putting the phone in "music only" mode when I need to. The camera is great and offers some fun features (panoramic shots, "intelligent" mode, smile detector, facial makeover). It also has an auto-focus feature, which is really important for taking decent pictures up close. Texting is a cinch. The keys on the QWERTY keyboard are nice and big. You can also use the T-9 WORD input on the touch screen for one-handed texting. You can even turn the phone and use the virtural QWERTY keyboard on the front touch screen! Pretty much every texting option is available to you with this phone. I haven't used the browser on it, so I can't comment on the quality of that. I basically feel like this phone offers all the qualities you'd expect from a newer, data plan-required phone without the cost of the data plan. I'm planning on keeping this phone for a loooong time.

EnV Touch...worst phone I ever owned

Comments about LG Verizon Wireless Black Cellular Phone:

I traded my old Blackberry for an Env Touch a little over two years ago. With the first device I got, the screen worked for about 13 months then one day it ceased working without any reason (not dropped or hit), by then the battery was hardly working. Also, with this first device, only a few months after owning it I noticed that moisture/oil) had sipped in where my face touched the screen. I had this one replaced with a new device, same model. As with the previous phone, after a few months I noticed the same moisture/oil problem as with the first device. The touch screen on this phone lasted about 11 months. Also, as with the first phone, battery life on this phone was even worse than the first one. In conclusion, based on the two Env Touch devices I've owned, this phone is of very poor quality and I would not recommend it at all.

I had a few problems with this phone. The battery seemed to go down fast and did not last as long as my other phone did. I turned it on by accident a few time in my pocket/purse. I did have a stronger signal than all of my other phones and that is the most important thing to me. All in all not a bad phone. My new phone does not have a strong signal like this one did, so I sure do miss it.

I've owned several LG phones and never had quality problems. I liked this phone at first. However, it would call people, change settings, turn off etc. all in my pocket. So I started using the full passcode screen lock and it did not help. The warranty period just expired a month or two ago and now niether the touch screen or the inside flip screen work. just get black. all the keys work and I can feel the little vibraton when I touch the screen but cant see anything. I can make calls if I use the keypad. I can recieve calls and txts but cant view the txt or who is calling. very disappointed with the quality of this LG.

I have had this phone for about 1.5 yrs now. This is my 3rd handset I have been through and there is no fixing this phone. I had the LG Scoop before I traded up to a touch screen and KNEW better than to get an LG because they are not worth ANYTHING, but I did this one anyway. BIG mistake. Here is my list of what it does: Randomly turns itself off (sometimes back on too), screen changes to multi funky colors when text received, tap browser to get online & it restarts (at least 2x a day), A key on the inside keypad doesn't work, freezes on inside & outside screens, buttons to reply, etc go away if you receive a text while on the internet, randomly changes my sound settings, stopped reading my micro SD card and you want the big kicker?? DELETED ALL OF MY MEDIA on my SD card (300+ photos, videos & sounds)!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I have to go and spend extra money on image recovery software and hope that I can get back all those pictures of my nieces, nephews, dogs, fiancee, etc... I am beyond upset and LG will be getting a written letter to their headquarters. I will never buy another LG product and I will advise anyone I know to not purchase any of their products.

Initially a very nice phone, very easy to use with excellent sound and signal strength. However, after having it less than a year, it began to turn itself off and on, sometimes in the middle of conversations, and then would turn itself off any time my wife tried to access messaging. We took it to the dealer, and they replaced it with a phone that had a newer version of the operating software. It lasted for about a year and is back to turning off automatically again, and the screen constantly locks up, forcing the phone to have to be turned off and back on again. Loved the features, but it has turned out to be a terrible phone.

I am also losing the volume quite frequently. Know one can hear me nor can I hear them. This phone has issues.
