BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

It will obviously do a great job of protecting a small digital camera. I wish it were a bit less bulky for carrying in my jacket, I am still looking for a soft slip case for this purpose.

GREAT CASE FOR MY POWERSHOT

Used on my belt to store camera, magnetic flap works great to open quick for quick picture taking. I don't put the strap though the strap hole and it works fine
