Weak reception when indoors

While running and weight training this unit does drop signals alot thought for [$] it would have been a little better.

I walk everyday and use my walkman. I am a news junkie so the AM is what I listen to. I wish the battery life was longer but don't mind changing the battery when needed

I'm retired but like to listen while doing yard work and working around the home. Small and lightweight, also has a belt clip but fit well in pocket too. ABT had BEST price and free S/H! Was back ordered, but only took about 1 week longer to obtain, worth the wait as I had another portable to use (somewhat larger).

Could somethign this small be this good?

I bought two of these - my elderly, hearing-impaired 88-year old Mom sleeps with a radio, and so do I! The reception is great at night - she can listen to her old home-town stations. I can not only DX the late-night AM stations, but get great reception of my favorite FM stations, too. One teeny thing - we both wish that this had a lighted dial - and maybe then ten station inputs did not HAVE to be 5 AM, 5 FM, but assignable.
