We live in a 2-story single-family home with finished basement. I already own 2 Eureka vacuum cleaners. Wanted one each per floor to avoid lifting and moving the vacuum cleaner from one floor to another. Compared to the Eureka models, this one seems to have much better suction and I have no continuous cost of buying replacement HEPA filters every 6 months.

I purchased the vaccum as a housewarming gift for a friend because I liked a Hoover Wind Tunnel Vacuum recently purchased for myself; however, this vacuum turned out to be a different model - missing important features. So, I exchanged it for a model twice as expensive, which had all the features I wanted, but the quality is not as good as the model I purchased for myself. The "threads" that hold the canister appear to be defective - and they don't hold the canister as tight as they should. If this becomes a problem or breaks, I trust Apt will replace the vacuum.

This vacuum works better on my Pergo floor than any vacuum I have ever had. It does not spread the dirt around after the brush hits it. Also, the air discharge does not blow onto the ground causing you to have to chase pet hair like other vacuums I have used. I do wish however, that the height settings for the brush were in a more convenient area and easier to change. Overall, I am very pleased with this vacuum.

I've been using this for six months now. This vacuum is so lightweight, easy and convenient to use. And it's very quiet. Totally different experience from my previous vacuum (a dirt devil). The long cord is wonderful. Can't beat the price either. A great value product.

Granted, my old Kirby upright was OLD, but I was SHOCKED to see how much dirt this vacuum picked up the first time I used it. I love that all of the accessories are attached and always convenient, and no more refill bags to buy! I find myself fascinated by being able to see the dirt and stop after every room to look. Crazy, I know!
