Very efficient, relatively quiet, and plays tunes rather than beeping! We were able to stack this on top of an LG washer in our condo until. A huge improvement from our old dryer!

We purchased this dryer based on research done by Consumer Reports. It was rated in the top 5. It is a good buy for the price. It is very quiet and easy to use. The owners manual is even easy to follow. It definitely live up to our expectations.

Found this dryer for a great price. Based on CR reviews this was one of the best to purchase. Has a lot of good features, it's pretty quiet. Only drawback is it hasn't been very easy for my 85 year old mother in law to figure out.

Every drier we've owned has gotten a little more sophisticated. This one is remarkable because it dries clothes very well and plays a little tune (rather than emitting an annoying buzz) at the end of a cycle.The most clever feature in my mind is the monitor of exhaust duct backpressure. If you can see there is no problem then there is no worry. The countdown timer showing how many minutes are left in the cycle might not be clever, but sure is helpful[...] for the time being we're really happy with this purchase.

I have not yet dried a large/bulky item such as a comforter or sleeping bag with this dryer so I can't fairly assess performance in this area. Nor do I use the dryer for my delicates (I usually air dry). However, I have been very pleased with the results for drying everyday clothes, towels and sheets. Love the capacity this dryer holds.

For some reason, I dreaded getting a new gas dryer. I think it was because I had to get the gas company to come unhook the old one and come back to hook up the new one. The experience went smoothly and it was well worth the trouble. The dryer is quiet and much more efficient than my old one. I like the little tune it plays when the cycle is done. It gets used a lot and it wonderful.

I am originally from Europe, have been living in the US over 20 years. From what I can remember we always had a washer & dryer w/ loader on the top since we came to US, what I personally was not used from Europe. We are happy that that the washers and dryers resemble more and more to the European style ones: loader in front, large doors, silent during operation, detergent dispenser drawer, design of machines. America did finally progress in household appliances!
