The B&A 3i headphone is a better product if the intended use is the Apple I-Pod. That's a 5 star rated device in my opinion, because the additional manual control is very convenient. Otherwise B&A A8 headphone is far superior, for lots of reasons, compared to other competing headphones. I think it's well worth the extra money, if for no other reason the sound quality.

My main use for these headphones are for my daily running routine. I cant begin to tell you how annoying it is when you have to keep adjusting your earbuds mid workout, well i no longer have that problem. These headphones wrap nicely around the ear which prevents them from falling off, and the sound is just perfect. At first they were a little strange to get used to but give it a couple days and you will learn how to adjust them perfectly to your ears...

As much as I love the sound more than any earbuds I've used, which is why I bought them a second time, I continue to find the weak thin guage wire to fail at both the plug connection and intersection where it splits off to the individual ears. I always store them in the case provided and now see the wire splitting because of the frequency I wrap the wire around the carrying case. For the kind of money being spent, surely a heavier guage wire would go a long way to providing better durability.

I absolutely love these headphones. This is my second pair of headphones from B&O and the old ones lasted me over 4 years and the only reason I got a new pair is because I wanted one :-). They fit perfectly around the ear. I sweat a lot and they don't fall out and the sound is fantastic. They are light weight and they adjust to the ear. They are worth every $ I spent on them.

I use these with my Samsung Galaxy SII. I love the build and ease of use. I have small ears and the regular earbud headphones almost always cause me discomfort after prolonged use. These headphones are awesome. Though the only downside I can think of is that they are quite expensive. I hope they last - I have only used these for about 3 months now.

While I loved the style and comfort, I could not understand why such pricy headphones had such poor bass range. I compared them with a cheap pair of VModas and played the second movement of Berlioz' Symphonie Fantastique. I could practically not hear the double basses while the VModa's rendering was full and deep. No audiophile could accept this shortcoming.
