Earlier in the year we bought a new Maytag model with more basic controls at a lesser price. Had it for 3 months and did not like the machine. Was very noisy, control panel start switch broke twice, had it repaired once, and then it broke again during the very next use. Gave up on the machine. Returned it to Home Depot where they gave us a full refund and we exchanged it for this new model. Now very satisified.

I purchased a Maytag Bravo washer 11/09, i now have rust forming at the bottom and also around the top edges. When i spoke to Robby Rankin Sales Dir. for Whirlpool he said the unit should last longer than 4 years before rusting or having issues. But then was told all he could do is send me the new shell to replace the rusted one because rust is not covered under any warrenty. Oh but i had to do it or call a service man.

I love my new range!
from Buffalo, New York
I've been using my range for a few weeks now and I'm loving it. However, the broiler pan is sold seperately.Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I love the washer so far. I can wash all my comforters and I can get 2 loads of wash done at once.

Piece of junk
Bought this piece of junk new 3 yrs ago. It is dead now after sounding like a jet engine for 6 months and leaking water everywhere for the past 2 months. We have already replaced multiple parts on it, not to mention the ruined clothes bc it tears them apart. Cannot use standpipe bc it throws out too much lint. Have to use external lint filter so it doesn't clog sink. Of course, company won't stand by its product despite numerous complaints online about the same problem. I will never buy maytag again.
large capacity with great features
I bought this washer 5 years ago and it still works great. What drew me to this washer was its large stainless steel tub and all the different settings I could use. Being an HE washer also helps.

Although I follow the owner's manual and the customer service advice for keeping this unit from smelling like rotten eggs, it continues to stink. It holds water in each of the dispensers and the factory service repair man told me that "that is just the way it is." I use a turkey baster to remove water each and every time I wash. No one should have to do that if the product is made properly. I was astonished that Maytag did not have a better grasp of this issue (nor care anymore than that)!

Has great features and settings for fabric, including a hand wash cycle that did a wonderful job on lace and sheer garments I was pleased with the results and glad there is no more by hand washing

I purchased this washer June 2010 and have suffered with it and kept it to myself long enough so I'm finally having my say! I've aired my disappoint with my friends but now I'm writing you, the manufacturer. This is supposed to be a large capacity washer [MVWB300WQ], but when I load it up with at least 2 sets of queen size sheets and pillow cases, or at least 6 Lg bath towels +hand & wash towels I get the UL-unbalanced light indicator in the spin cycle. I'll rearrange the items 2 or 3 times, carefully each time, before it finally proceeds, however, sometimes it will power off in the UL mode and I must restart the washer again. Of course, I'm not watching the wash cycling through,as I'm sure many others don't, so I don't really know which cycle it stopped at so I have to start the wash cycle all over again. Extremely frustrating! I paid $800 for it expecting a quality product and instead feel cheated. I'll never again purchase a maytag unless its the old wringer type washer that was produced 40 yrs ago! I don't have any faith or expectation that any product manufactured in the past 10-20 years is of any acceptable quality and definitely not worth my hard earned dollars.I don't expect a response from anyone to this communication and I'll be very surprised if I receive one.
This is the worst maytag I ever had.
This washer cannot handle heavy loads as was advertised. Big tub but can only handle one third of tub to wash. Will screech and stop running if put more than 1/3 of tub in. Does not have center piece for balance inside so have to keep opening and re arranging clothes to keep machine running. Matching dryer is even worse.
Seems to be working great, does an excellent job saving water, very good job on cleaning clothes
