Comments about LG DLGX2502W White Steam Gas Dryer:
I've owned this dryer for the last three months and I cannot say how much I enjoy it. I am a mother of three energetic outdoor-loving boys who go through many pairs of jeans and shirts throughout the week. It is very large, so all my clothes from my front-loading washing machine fits in perfectly. It also has very easy-to-use controls that let you adjust every little setting this dryer has. The clothes aren't drying with the standard setting? Place it on "more dry"! It was very nice to know how you can adjust everything. I haven't used the steam setting (I have that on my washing machine), but I've used all the other settings and found them to be very useful. You don't have to guess the temperature setting, you simply set the clothes and it takes care of the rest.

We are very happy with this dryer. The unit is very easy to use and dries the clothes well. We also like the steam dry feature for certain items.
Service and delivery comments:
ABT did a great job with customer service. I orderd the dryer online and accidently chose the wrong model. I called the customer service line and someone immediately rectified the mistake. The follow up and confirmation on the order and delivery was great. The dryer was delivered as promissed.

The "problem" was actually a "feature"

We HATED this dryer at first: it was the slowest dryer in captivity! Abt had installed it, replacing a dryer that dried nicely but had switch problems. Each load took longer than the last, and the "check lint filter" light kept coming on, though the filter was clear. We didn't imagine a problem with the venting since we had cleaned it a few months earlier and the old unit worked fine. When Abt came out to replace the unit (no hassle on the phone--they were swift and polite), the technician discovered that the animal-blocking grid at the very end of the outdoor vent was clogged with a monstrous lint ball. The dryer switches itself off when the hose is clogged. Little did we imagine how much hidden lint this unit pushed to the limit. After removing the ball, the dryer has worked better than the old one: no damp spots on the king-size sheets.The customer service rep had suggested a possible lint problem, but of course I didn't believe her. [...] and now I like the dryer very well.
