How it Works

The CDE-103BT is powered by Parrot, the global leader in wireless devices for mobile phones, for expanded compatibility for many Bluetooth wireless technology enabled cell phones. Check with your local authorized Alpine retailer for phone compatibility.

Now, make and take phone calls conveniently. When a call comes in, your music mutes to carry the phone call. You can set up your cell phone/head unit to automatically answer your calls. View caller information including caller ID, missed, dialed, and received calls right from the head unit display. Use the supplied microphone to speak, and then listen through your car’s speakers. Once the call is finished, the music plays again. This truly makes the transition from your phone calls to music an enjoyable, and convenient driving experience.

With select compatible phones with streaming audio capability, you can listen to music stored on your phone and have it stream through your speakers. Bluetooth compatibility and functionality may vary depending on cell phone and service provider.

Simple Plug-in with Front USB Port and Front Aux Input

With direct USB/auxiliary input available conveniently on the front of the head unit you can connect to additional devices. Connect MP3 players like the iRiver Clix, Creative Zen, or Toshiba Gigabeat, using the MTP protocol or even connect USB memory devices like thumbdrives and USB hard drives. Song lists on USB devices are displayed in alphabetical order, and the unit will find music files while ignoring other file types.

Note: MP3 device or cell phone cannot be independently controlled through the head unit.

The CDE-103BT is more than just a CD player, it is designed to work with your iPod or iPhone – so you can enjoy all your favorite music wherever the road takes you.

Connect your iPod or iPhone using the KCE-433iV cable (required, sold separately), and get instant access to all your music, right from your head unit. With Full Speed you get convenient control so you can scroll through all your Playlists, Artists, Albums, and Songs – and view all your song information right from the display on your head unit. Enjoy all your music whether from your iPod or iPhone, Alpine always brings the music to your car.
