Comments about Whirlpool Black In-Sink Garbage Disposal:
The Whirlpool disposal was easy to install and thus far is working fine. The only drawback was that I had to wait for two weeks for delivery, but I was well aware of this when I ordered the product from ABT.

Shipping didn't cost a dime and was delivered as stated. Easy to install with simple tools and convenience of electrical plug kit, without ANY modification to existing plumbing. Works fine, quiet...no complaints.

A reasonably priced unit that comes prewired with the power cord and fit the origonal sink mount ofthe Insinkerator that it replaced.

I bought this disposal as the one I had seized up. I did a lot of searching for information on the different makes and models of the various disposals. I didn't want to get one enclosed in plastic as the reviews I read said they weren't as reliable and developed leaks. This one was just what I wanted.
Basic Garbage disposal for small kitchen

Don't be intimidated about needing to install the disposal to save some money. I watch a few videos on you tube and there you go..... It took me about 30 minutes to install it. My only concern was that the first week it sounded like the teeth inside were loose and grinding against eachother, but I guess it needed to get situated, and now it works and I am proud to say i installed it myself.... and I am FAR from being a handyman!
