I bought this to replace a 12 year old Whirlpool GC2000 disposal with what I thought was the same model number. My intent was to get EXACTLY the same disposal, to simplify installation of the replacement. The old disposal had a threaded connection for the disposal "exhaust". Disposals I found at local retailers had no such threaded connection. I figured that ordering the same Whirlpool model number would allow me to use all the existing under sink plumbing. I was wrong. Whirlpool has different suffixes on variations of the GC-2000 disposal. Unfortunately, the one I got from ABT did not have the threaded connection matching the old disposal so I had to do some minor plumbing anyway. ABT's price was great and the delivery was good, considering it was s special order item.
