This washer is less than a year old and it randomly eats or burns holes in our clothes. I wash about 3 to 4 loads a week and it has destroyed probably at least one item a week since I have owned it. Today was the last straw and I went and purchased a samsung washer to replace it when it ate my daughter's brand new swimsuit she wore once. They have already been out once and replaced the rubber seal but it started again almost immediately. I bought this washer because of the small load option but have regretted this purchase almost from the beginning. I replaced a frigidare front load washer that lasted us twelve years with absolutely no issues and would still have if the bearing had not gone out and would have cost more to repair than new one. Almost wish I would have taken that avenue now. Hopefully the samsung will be a better option. But I absolutely hate this whirlpool!!

Comments about Whirlpool Duet WFW9150WW White Front Load Washer:
I bought this washer in 2010 after I moved into my new house, the washer worked fine for the first couple of years, and then it started to put holes in my clothes. It's crazy how many pieces of clothing it has destroyed in the past year until we realized that there is a tear on the rubber seal that is making clothes getting caught when they are being washed. I come to know this is a known problem with the model, and it is just crazy how much cloth i lost due to this problem.. In any case, I will never buy a Whirlpool again.

i was skeptical at first, hearing rumors of negative responses from other owners. but i love the decision i made to purchase my set. it cleans well uses a lot less water. and can hold up to our steady circulation of laundry. i will always recommend a whirlpool washer and dryer.
Great washer, excellent buy
I upgraded from a very old, well used washer. I love that it is efficient, but quiet. Only negative I have found (and easily fixed) is the bending over to load and unload.

I am impressed with the excellent performance and the quiet , relatively short cycle.

This product is average.
I would not recommend this product. The washer started out very quite for the first year, but now is noisey during the rinse cycle.
This product is reasonably priced and simple to use. Added features make it the best choice for those who can't spend a lot of time doing laundry.

Whirlpool products are both trustworthy and dependable. This washer is an improvement because there is no longer an odor within the tub area. My laundry seems to be much cleaner and fresher than before. I especially like the added feature of the spin and drain cycle. This is great for washing rugs and heavy bedding. This washer makes very little noise when in operation and the loads stay balanced. It is a must for those who don't have a separate laundry room.
Great product for on the go people
This is my 3rd front load washer.I love this because of the ability to wash as fast as dry. When I got the 1st one my boys were in college and brought home their laundry. The front load spun so much more water out of the clothes that I was able to wash and dry one right behind the other. It may not sound like much to some, but to me it was a great time saver.
nothing but problems

I have had a repairman here 3 times the first year and I don't have the extended warranty and need the same part for the third time. It shreds my clothes and it knocks really loud no matter the size load..
