as stated on the dryer, we got flooded by the village storm sewer and the fetid backup was with us a couple days - 4' of it. we replaced our Maytag Epics which were phenomenal units with this washer and dryer. It surprised us that these units actually work better more efficiently than the Epics and the Epics were great. There are many different units on the market but these showed us they are well made and very sturdy. Plus my wife thinks they are pretty. What more can anyone ask??

There is no enough room to give our full opinion of ABT and the sales team and delivery team. Let it be known we recommend this company and their people. We have not had the reason to give praise to any previous sales or delivery crews for these types of machines. Our first purchase from ABT and the process was ... extraordinary. Surprised at each encounter. Surprised in a good way. We have decided to make our future appliance and related purchases from ABT. Pricing is what you'd think it should cost and we call that fair - fair for us and fair for them. That is important to have a company that does not cut corners but gives full value like it says "tamped down full measure" and they also are fair to their people. You can tell if a company treats their people bad they will not treat you good either; but this ABT is good to their people and good to the customers. That is what we have experienced.

Over all I have enjoyed this new Maytag front loading washer very much since my 30 year old top loader finally met its end a month ago. The only thing that I would change is that the cycle, even without the extra rinse, which I usually use, takes an hour! It should be possible for the manufacturer to resolve this, since heavy duty front loading machines at a laundromat only take about 35 minutes with 2 rinses.

I have only had this washer for about a month, but have washed many loads of wash, from delicate items to bedspreads. It is very quiet, cleans well, and removes moisture well shortening the drying time.

We use this washer every day for small loads, and occasionally for larger ones. I spent a long time carefully leveling the machine to minimize vibration when I first installed the unit. The vibration is satisfactory for how fast it spins with large loads, but could be better. The cleaning ability is somewhat less than our old Kenmore tub style with agitator. Perhaps the most notable difference is how quiet this unit is. Can barely hear it washing or spinning with the laundry room door closed. After reading other people's reviews, I was convinced of purchasing an extended warranty.

Use daily. Easy to use, quiet, cleans clothes well. Spin cycle very efficient, doesn't require as much drying time.
