The quality of this grill was the icing on the cake which is exemplary CS from ABT.
This is my first and probably last charcoal grill, I say last because every time I need ( If I do ), I will rebuy this very grill.
It is so easy to set up and use and the food tastes so good.
The container for charcoal is such a neat idea, perfect thought went into it.
LOVE, LOVE LOVE THE RED COLOR, I have issues with the color red, if you can't tell.
I ordered it over the phone and received perfect service, goofed up and left my CC somewhere, had to put the order on hold for 30 minutes and get back to it and what do ya know, it went through perfectly, boy was the person who helped me patient.
I initiated a "Live Chat" because they forgot to deliver the cookbook, my computer had issues and I didn't know the chat had gotten disconnected, the service person I was chatting with clld me and said they found the book and it has been mailed out, and I received it within a day.
This is my first purchase from ABT and probably will be the first of many.

This was my first venture into charcoal grilling having used a gas grill for many many years. I was always skeptical of the messy clean up and long start up times I had associated with charcoal. While I knew the flavor was better with charcoal, I still stayed with gas until this purchase and some time in Memphis where EVERYTHING is charcoal grilled! I can't say enough about this grill and would replace it tomorrow if something happened but I suspect I will have it years based on the quality. While it is a bit tricky to get used to charcoal, having a few quite overdone burgers and all, it doesn't take long to get the hang of it, and it is just the best tasting cooking you can imagine. I am rather embarrased to say we haven't even used the auto gas start up...which is I am sure the reason the grill is priced higher...but my husband just likes the old fashioned lighter fluid and match way. If you need a grill do not hesitate a moment to get this one, I use it at least weekly to cook a pretty large selection of chicken, sausage, burgers, turkey tenderloins, and chops and then freeze them for when I need them. It is an easy way to cook, just throwing a side dish together, and the food tastes great. You will love it!!

I have never had a propane grill - always charcoal, but was tired of the waiting for the grill to heat up and the aggravation of lighting the grill, yet we didn't want to give up the good taste of charcoal. This grill is a great compromise. It is VERY easy to light the charcoal with the propane and the charcoal is ready in 20-25 minutes - sometimes ready before I am! I also love the work surface next to the grill and the charcoal holder is in a very convenient location. The lid fits nicely in its holder on the left when I take it off. The pan that catches the ashes makes cleanup easy. Definitely am happy that I paid a bit extra for this grill - it is worth it!
