This range looks absolutely beautiful but it is difficult to keep clean since it is black. Dust and grease always shows. I had some issues with one burner not lighting but the service was excellent and it was quickly repaired. Great for cooking for a crowd because many large pots can fit squarely on the burners. I would recommend it to anyone.

We purchased this range from our builder in 2010 with our home. It was converted to propane use, as our neighborhood has a central delivery propane system. It seems to cook very hot in comparison to natural gas, which I had previously. The range was very expensive (around $7500), yet the black finish on the top has totally burned off in spots after 3 years of fairly light usage. The black finish also scratches very easily. The burner covers are also discolored and un-cleanable. I also wish that this range had the option for a non-stick griddle. Disappointed in this KA range.

Comments about KitchenAid Commercial Style Dual Fuel Stainless Steel Range:
This was purchased in conjunction with our kitchen remodel, and replaced an aging (25 plus years) Wolf range. We literally spent months researching this purchase, as it is the heart of our new kitchen, and we are highly satisfied with the result. The range has the cooktop power of our old Wolf, at half the price, with the ehancement of even cooking in the oven thanks to dual fuel. My wife is a baker and one of our sons is a professional chef, and both of them are most pleased witht the performance of the range.

I bought this 2 months ago for a kitchen remodel project. By far the best range on the market. Bakes and cooks perfectly! Love it!
Gas Range with it all!

Although this range cost more than what the construction budget allowed, I'm so glad we paid the difference. The 6 burners give you plenty of room on the cook top to have multiple pans/pots cooking at once. I've not used the oven as much but when I cook for the upcoming holidays, I'm sure I won't be complaining.

Nicest range I have EVER owned!

This was a splurge! Although it was very expensive to me, it was worth it! It is not only roomy enough for a large turkey and several side dishes, it is very attractive and impressive. Visitors to our home always comment on our beautiful kitchen, especially the range!

When we decided to renovate our kitchen, we originally ordered the 30" gas range by Kitchenaid. While looking at model homes for design ideas, we knew that we would regret not having the 36" 6 burner range. We changed our order and haven't looked back. Not only is it a focal point, but food has never tasted so good! It has become a huge part of our dream kitchen. We absolutely LOVE IT!!

Shine it must, work it might
On my second appliance in only two months after the first one had to be replaced due to faulty touch panel / circuit board. The replacement range's touch panel is ultra sensitive which could lead to premature wear. (Detects hand approx 3 - 4" above panel!) The burners are too high and need adjusting, too. Btw I've got a 3-month old kitchen aid built in microwave / oven combo that recently displayed error messages. (Guess I'll be writing a review soon on it.).

I love my new range. The only option I see for improvement is that ALL the burners should have a simmer option. As a Chef, you reserve the back burners for simmering (stock, soups, etc), so you can focus on items on the front burners.

I purchased my KitchenAid 6-burner 5 months ago. I love the different size burners. I was concerned the glass control panel being on the top near the heat and keeping it clean. I lock the control panel before wiping it, no problems. Love the huge oven. Easy to use.

Wonderful to cook with this KitchenAid range. It is so fast with any size pan, and is very easy to control the temperature needed. Great oven which can fit so much at a time, including two large take and bake pizzas.
