Filled the oil and gas , pumped the gas lid and choked it, after 4 pulls it fired right up and took off.It vibrates some but, not badly , not as quiet as a honda but for the HUGE price difference i am more than satisfied. With oil and gas full,it weighs about 55 lbs. very portable with the built in handle on top.The oil lid is a little difficult to get, but do-able , just have to be pretty careful not to drop it . All and all i am delighted with my purchase and look forward to many years of service , and you get a 2 yr warranty from and AMERICAN MADE company ! Thanks alot ABT.com

Have owned this unit 30+ days. Purchased for both camping and power outages. Tested: Easily runs 20 cu ft refrigerator or (not AND) drip coffee maker. Also used it during a short power outage last week: Ran TV and DVR with no electronic noise. Seems to have very clean output for an inverter type generator. Only 'con' is fuel capacity/run time. Plan to run a 5000 BTU AC in a small camper but know it won't run all night on internal fuel supply. Honda offers a "Fuel Extender" accessory tank - hope Generac follows suit.

This generator puts out the same power and is just as quiet as the Honda 2000i. I struggled with the decision to buy this. Since this one was less than half the price of the Honda, I decided to go ahead. I'm glad I did.
