It has everything you can possibly need for your every day use. WiFi Internet, Pic in Pic, Motion censor, Smart capabilities, Optional Glo remote,
3-D, Excellent Picture, Beautiful Modern Style, Swivel Base, has plenty of ports, and so much more!!!! Ex: I have a surround sound system to it, HD DVR, CD Player, Blue Ray Player, 2 Video Game Consoles, and my Laptop! I Love this Product! Great Quality! Wonderful Price!!! Highly recomend it!!! I absolutely love this telly. Samsung is the King. I have had so much fun with this purchase. ABT offered a free LinkStick and Blu-Ray player with this purchase which, in my opinion, was very helpful in cutting a bit of the expense down because one of my main objectives was to watch videos from my computer as well as have fun with 3D.

There is a bit of a learning curve on use but Samsung's site has everything you need to learn how to use all the different features.

It does provide all the connections a normal person could ever need but I am one of those kinds of people that like to have at least 2 extra connections so a couple more HDMI and USB ports would be nice.

I really haven't found any cons other than I believe since it is a 3D telly that it should come with at least 2 pair of glasses. The extra expense is unbelievable and I can not understand why the glasses are so expensive.

But other than that.....this telly has been a joy to use.

Service and delivery comments:

My delivery went down exactly as the sales associate told me. He said it would take a week and it arrived exactly a week later.

The delivery person was nice and helpful.

But as I was VERY excited about my purchase, I found waiting a week was unbearable. However, that is my personal problem to deal with.

This is absolutely the most beautiful, crisp, vidid, colorful TV I have ever seen. I'm in love with it. It's like an art piece. I am a big stickler on brightness of color and crispness of detail. Hands down I would recommend this to anyone. I can't stop bragging about it. I'm considering getting the 65" just because I want more of it!

The Samsung UN55C8000 worked great out of the box but required extensive tweeking to get the great picture you paid the big bucks for. This TV has all the features that the average video user could want and then some they wouldn't dare alter. Bought the Samsung bluray player which integrates well with the TV...a great package together. The 3D is astounding but no new content is available at this time...hopfully will see some new titles this year.

I have exchanged 3 Samsung 3D tv's ... first one dead pixels, second one loosing HDMI signals (need to unplug for 30 minutes, and last one, bright flashlights at the lower corners plus in the center of the screen (Samsung will exchange the panel but I will pass, no thanks)
I will look stupid returning the 3'th TV back to ABT, but no offense
Please be aware of these issues ... and good luck with the Samsung
At this point I think I will sleep better with my old Westinghouse (5 years LCD).

Have the 55" Series 8000 3D LED panel in my home theater and the colors are very vivid, great sound even without the receiver hooked up, and the #D effect is awesome, unbelievable to have such great 3D effects on both 3D movies and non-3D movies. The conversion is great. I even get HD channels converted to 3D with the TV, it is truly a marvel of technology!

This only proves of the saying the bigger is better overall picture quality. Remember, i bought the 46 prior to this 55? I had exchanged for this 55 inch model!, it has better picture than the 46 inch the moment I turned on. Not only that, I really wanted to have a bigger monitor wirelessly while in bed, Ideally this is just right after mounting it on the wall. Some broadcasting still are the issues of high-contrast monitor such as this as im aware Samsung got nothing to do with it. Although, i had this monitor as temporary illusion of the 9000 model, brushed aluminum bezel which im looking forward to review closely at comfort of my privacy next year!..
