I was in a situation where my dryer vent had collapsed, my HOA would not let me re-establish the vent via my roof, it would take hours for my clothes to dry. I needed a dryer that did not need to be vented and this works perfectly, Yes it takes a little longer for my clothes to dry but that was already happening. Now with the LG combo I have more room in my laundry closet, I start a load at night with the delay feature and in the morning I fold my clothes. Yes it is sometimes a little loud during the spin cycle but only with bulky items. I am so glad I decided to try this machine!!!!

One unit to wash and dry your clothes. Do it overnight and save on electricity rates. It is so quiet even the dog does not notice it. It is the swiss army knife of washers. And best of all you won't have to walk and carry your laundry through the streets ever again. You won't have your neighbors eyes on your loads while riding the elevator to the basement washing machines... Load, set and get on with your life... Who cares how long it takes to dry ! At least it won't be a wet lump of clothes waiting for you and mildew...

I've had my washer/dryer combo for almost two months and I have nothing bad to say about it! I was worried because I had wanted it for 2 years before I got it and I was really worried it wouldn't live up to the image I had in my head. No worries! It has performed fantastictly! I read other reviews about how the cloths will feel damp until you shake them two or three times and it's weird but it's true. I was worried it couldn't handle blankets, but I had no problem. It's bigger than I thought, but it fits the space. I put it on wood floors and it vibrated alot that first load, but then I read to hold the Stain Cycle button down for 3 seconds for SPINSENSE once and the problem was solved. I have started doing wash only if I'm home so I can set the spin to medium (if you wash and dry together you can only select high or extra high spins) and once finished I do dry only. If I have to say anything bad I would have to say I wish I could have chosen any other color but white, but that's because I don't like white appliances. I think the smaller one was silver, but I wanted the biggest and best, which this one is. It may sound sad, but I hug and kiss it on occasion because I love it SO MUCH! lol

I needed to have laundry facilities in our basement but there is no dryer vent, and no room for two machines so this machine fulfilled my purpose. I have found that it takes a little longer to dry and things are sometimes damp when they come out, but I just hang them for a little while and they usually dry just fine. My one problem was that it got very warm and humid downstairs when I ran the dryer on normal, but found if I ran it on low heat, it seemed to do just as well (or nearly so) and did not heat the rooms up nearly as much. As far as cleaning the laundry, it's excellent. Everything has come out very nicely that I have washed. We have several LG products and love them all.

I love this combo -not only is it a spacesaver - it has been a peacemaker - no more redoing laundry my kids left in the washer or dryer - it took a little bit of change in how we do laundry but just set it on delay - it starts and when i arrive home from work it has completed wash cycle and clothes are dry and ready to hang. Just plug and use. I love the settings and have used them all - clothes come out a bit damp and with a quick shake - they are wrinkle free - fresh and ready to put away . The machine is quite - unlike my old units - and cleaning the lint trap is a breeze. You also need to wipe down the rim to remove any internal lint.

I know the reviews are mixed, but for a ventless dryer operating on a standard plug that I can start with dirty clothes and come home to dry fresh clean laundry, I am impressed! LG has achieved a product that is sleek, well thought and reliable!

As long as you understand how European machines work you will love it. It can dry clothes bone dry, but takes a long time. Overnight usage is the best as you wake and its all done. Glad I got this machine. It uses a standard 110 voltage line. That had me concerned, without merit.
