Bought from ABT the day they happened to receive this new modelThis is HEAVY machine[...]I wish my pedestal had arrived first, now I have to try to get it up on the pedestal.On turning on the cold water initially, water flowed continuously, filling up the drum. Machine reported code FE, which is broken water inlet valve, which says to call for service. Luckily turning the machine off and back on allowed the cold water valve to reset, no issues since.The first 7 loads of laundry ended up smelling slightly of burned rubber. Not a permanent smell, but it was very noticable and filled up the laundry space. I believe this was due to the new rubber seal on the door and how hot things get on normal dry cycles. Load 8 had no more odor and the burning smell is gone. Again, this wasnt a "machine is on fire" smell, just a breakin that didnt occur at the factory.Those problems aside, the machine works great. Cycle times, if filled 1/2 full per instructions, is generally 2.75 - 4.0 hours. It is a HUGE drum at 4.3 cu feet. You can do a full drum of wash if you want, but then it will not dry well, because all dryers need to have about 2x the capacity of the washer to allow clothes to tumble, and this is no exception.But if you understand what you are getting, this is a fantastic machine. The kw/yr use is 128. The lowest usage dryer is 800, so huge energy savings. And it is very smart about the amount of water it uses. Clothes can seem damp if taken out immediately on cycle end, but within seconds they feel dry, it is just humidity.There are just numerous great features with this machine. The ability to put a load in and set the delay so it is dry and ready for you when you are ready for it is great. It is very quiet on our solid floors. It will continue to tumble and fluff a load when drying is done for up to 4 hours to keep wrinkles from forming.One annoying feature is the fact that the door lock doesnt unlock on cycle end till you cycle the power, but that is not really an issue.All in all a fantastic machine. It saves space, money, water, and meant in our home with 60 amp service and no vent outlet, no modifications were required.Super happy with this purchase.

I am on my 2nd one of these machines (the first one was replaced by my service agreement after 14 months of trying to fix the machine - they replaced it with a new one). When they work well, they work amazing well!! Unfortunately, they are NOT designed to work well. I am thrilled that I bought a 5 year service agreement as it is clear I will need it. The problem with the way the machine is built is there is no way for the consumer to empty lint from within. Thus, it turns out it builds up within the machine. The result is that the machine stops drying when the lint builds up. I have this machine just over a year. Like with the previous one, at just over a year, I have had to call for service. When the tech came, he removed from the deepest parts of the machine a full cup of wet lint. This had stopped the machine from drying properly. I had to have a machine replaced a little over a year ago (same identical machine) due to the same problem but the service company could never figure this out and LG did not suggest this fix. The tech said this is the most common problem on these machines and that he sees a large number of service calls due to this. IF you buy, you MUST buy a service warranty!

I needed to have laundry facilities in our basement but there is no dryer vent, and no room for two machines so this machine fulfilled my purpose. I have found that it takes a little longer to dry and things are sometimes damp when they come out, but I just hang them for a little while and they usually dry just fine. My one problem was that it got very warm and humid downstairs when I ran the dryer on normal, but found if I ran it on low heat, it seemed to do just as well (or nearly so) and did not heat the rooms up nearly as much. As far as cleaning the laundry, it's excellent. Everything has come out very nicely that I have washed. We have several LG products and love them all.

I love this combo -not only is it a spacesaver - it has been a peacemaker - no more redoing laundry my kids left in the washer or dryer - it took a little bit of change in how we do laundry but just set it on delay - it starts and when i arrive home from work it has completed wash cycle and clothes are dry and ready to hang. Just plug and use. I love the settings and have used them all - clothes come out a bit damp and with a quick shake - they are wrinkle free - fresh and ready to put away . The machine is quite - unlike my old units - and cleaning the lint trap is a breeze. You also need to wipe down the rim to remove any internal lint.

I know the reviews are mixed, but for a ventless dryer operating on a standard plug that I can start with dirty clothes and come home to dry fresh clean laundry, I am impressed! LG has achieved a product that is sleek, well thought and reliable!

As long as you understand how European machines work you will love it. It can dry clothes bone dry, but takes a long time. Overnight usage is the best as you wake and its all done. Glad I got this machine. It uses a standard 110 voltage line. That had me concerned, without merit.

Ordered on Monday and arrived on Friday. Fast!!!! I still don't understand how the dryer part works, but I love this machine. We have always had a washer and dryer. The problem was the dryers kept burning up, overheating?????Come to find out our small laundry room, dryers to close to the wall. No vent needed, more room with only one machine. Works great so far. I worried about all the complaints I had read, but so far this is a great machine.

This is an amazing machine that washes and dries a load of clothes with no effort. The machine has lots of features and many different settings that would work on almost anything. Even though a full cycle to wash and dry a large load is about 3 hours - it is worth it! The clothes are clean and dry when you take them out.

We bought the product because of the dryer feature. We moved into a new home and wanted to save the space of the dryer. When we tried to use the dryer feature, the cloths would not dry completely. We called customer support and found out that it could take up to 4 hours for the cloths to dry. We tried it and it was not satisfactory. We had to go out and buy dryer to get our cloths dry. It was not an LG dryer
