I had a few portable DVD players in the past and not one compares to this one. The picture quailty and sound are excellent.

ordered this portable dvd player for long road trip with 3 kids. it worked out great. everyone could see and hear the movies. we brought our game cube and they even played games along the way.

The twisting screen is really neat and comes in handy when more than one person wants to watch the video in the back seat of the car. I was, at first, suspect of the 7-hour battery life that was advertised. But this unit lived up to the hype during a trip to Orlando. The grandkids loved the trip. The Sony DVD player was a hit with everyone in the car.

This is my first portable dvd player. When I travel I usually bring my lap top and dvds in the carrying case, and this can fit into my bag. It's so small and light weight. I have owned this for 3 months now and had no problems with it! The pricing is also great. If you buy it, you will love it!!!

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I have owned this for 3 months and I abosolutly love it! You really get your moneys worth. I usually bring my lap top to play movies, but it usually dies, while this lasts my entire trip. It lasts about 7.5 hours and my lap top usually lasts about 2 hours. The picture and sound is great. I love it!
