Purchased as my garage system and I couldn't be happier. This system blows away those iHomes and other iHome copy cat systems, and its really not much more expensive at all. Its a much better value.

I use this product daily to listen to Rap and Metal. It's great for both. That bass booster gives very nice audio so don't listen to that other review. The only issue with the audio at all is that(like the other reviewer said) the mids and highs aren't seperated very well, but it's better than most systems at this price. If you want it for home use or even for small parties this is a good sound system to have! But wouldn't be good or DJ's because it just doesn't have perfect audio. It does have tons of great features though.

Do not use the timer to sleep. It will be sure to wake you up when it turns off, very noisy.

I purchased this system because it seemed to have everything I was looking for in a shelf system- an ipod dock plus a line in-put for a pc. It offers decent wattage and looks nice. However, the sound is awful. Regardless of the price-inexpensive but not cheap, the sound should be decent or at least adequate. I guess adequate is my best description of the sound if you don't really care that your music will sound bad playing through this system. I was aware of the lack of subwoofer but I expected the bass to be decent; it's mushy. No distinction exists between the highs and mids as well.
