The GE ADER65LP worked great -- for one season that is. Then the unit failed to remove any humidity at all (presumably a condenser failure). Fortunately when it failed, it failed within its one year warrany period and ABT stood by the warranty. I exchanged it for a new one. So far, the new one is working fine but I have little expectation that this will be a long-lived appliance.

This product works right out of the box. Just plug it in and enjoy the results. I use this dehumidifier in my basement Family Room. Humidity was definitely a problem for me until I purchased this dehumidifier. This product works great. I highly recommend it. I also received free shipping. The product arrived in about 5 days. Easier than purchasing in the store and having to carry it to the car.

This dehumidifier works great in my basement. It has a handle to pick up the whole unit and the bucket has a handle also. Very easy to move and empty.

i bought a 65pint ge dehumidifer 2 years ago. i used it in my basement as needed. i bought the biggest one available and i usually only run it on medium with the 4 hour built in timer. during those 4 hours it will take humidity from appr. 80% down to about 50. you def want to use the optional garden drain hose to avoid emptying the tank every few days. i spend alot of time in my climate controlld detached garage so i decided to buy another identical model to put in basement and put old one in garage. im glad i bought the largest one they make..that way it runs less and i can run it on medium. rather than buyin ther smaller model and running it on high. this way it should last longer. user friendly and very effective. A+!
