I like this product, but it wasn't quite what I had expected. I thought it was going to be a little more of a flexible/softer case. Instead it is very sturdy/hard and is kind of bulky in all actuality. The good thing is that it looks good and it protects your camera very well. Me being a girl, I would like a case that would protect my camera well,but at the same time fit into my purse more easily without being so bulky. I do enjoy the product though,but in the future I might pick a different case.

I have a pink camera. I chose the gray case and not the pink due to so many reviewers saying the pink case was not the color they thought it would be based on it's pictures. I've seen cuter cases out there, I just thought a case made by Canon for a Canon would be the best at protecting the camera...which is the reason I bought it in the first place...not for looks. I do not like the hole made at the top of the case for the camera strap, maybe if they had made the whole bigger to accommodate the bulky plastic you have to pull through. Overall, I guess I would have gotten it anyway.

Fits the Canon SD1000 like a glove without adding bulk, perfect for general storage and an evening out. If you were going on a vacation or active trip (camping, hiking, etc), I would definitely invest in a second case with more protection. However, for what this case is designed for, it excels.

The leather surface has a bit of a sheen which makes the case appear like vinyl (but it does say "leather"). Looked at lots of cases, but this was the only one which I thought was as stylish as the camera itself.

Best case I can find
