I got a great deal on this washer along with a rebate from KitchenAid. It was a little tough to install as there is little room underneath. I also had a tough time finding the special hose fitting for the water supply line.
Very pleased with it so far. Only complaint is that the racks are really light and don't feel as sturdy as a previous KitchenAid dishwasher. The bottom rack easily slips off the track but if you're careful it is ok.

I bought this dishwasher about 3 weeks ago based on so many positive reviews. From a noise standpoint, it is fairly quiet. Pretty much the only thing you hear is the swishing of the water. The dishes and silverware have come out clean. As some people have said, even with the Heat dry setting on, there is still some moisture on some of the items on top rack. The one annoying thing is that the Indicator light that shows that unit is running is already not working. It appears that there is some kind of short in the light because it flickers on and off. For as much money as this is, I would have expected better. I will be call KitchenAid and hope that this is not a painful process to get fixed.

    Very Quiet - Love it

Comments about KitchenAid Architect Series Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

So far I am really liking this dishwasher. The only thing that I have found is that the top shelf rolls out when you open the door. We are trying to load the top from the back to the front in order to stop it from sliding out while we are trying to load the bottom racks. It could be our kitchen is on a slant? Not sure!

We have had this dishwasher installed for about a month now. We have had no problems at all. It's quiet and does a wonderful job of cleaning. I like that the top tray slides very smoothly. Highly recommend this product!

Has a sleek and simple look with excellent features!

    By

Comments about KitchenAid Architect Series Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

Purchased this dishwasher to replace our 26 year old one. I was absolutely sold on the stainless look that didn't show smudges quite like some others did. The large handle is very handy but the hidden controls on top of the door are a great feature! What truly sold me though were the sliding baskets that slid in and out so smoothly inside the nice tall stainless steel tub that I wanted. One other thing I was worried about was the noise level. When we ran our first load I didn't even think it was running! How's that for noise level? Love this dishwasher and have said it many times since our purchase. No regrets!

    I love it now BUT....

    By

Comments about KitchenAid Architect Series Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

Just purchased my dishwasher. Thinking Kitchen Aid was the best, I was so happy to run it. The first time it worked fine. the second time I ran it there was a huge problem. thank goodness my husband was home. Had we both been gone we would have had a big mess when we got home. The shut off valve was faulty. So even when you opened the door water kept gushing out. The only solution was to pull the plug. part number W 10327250 Water Inlet Valve was broken. It works fine now. Love how quiet it is. I hope it doesn't happen again.

    Amazingly quiet

    By

    from Bozeman, MT, United States

Comments about KitchenAid Architect Series Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

Thank goodness there are tiny little lights on this Kitchenaid dishwasher to let you know if it is running. A major improvement over the one we replaced. It does a wonderful job of cleaning dishes and leaving them shining bright. I like that it has a heated dry option although the sani rinse cycle is what I have been using. I would like more adjustable tine racks to accomodate different loads(only has one) and have trouble with the wine glass rack because it can't hold long stem wine glasses
