I got a great deal on this washer along with a rebate from KitchenAid. It was a little tough to install as there is little room underneath. I also had a tough time finding the special hose fitting for the water supply line.
Very pleased with it so far. Only complaint is that the racks are really light and don't feel as sturdy as a previous KitchenAid dishwasher. The bottom rack easily slips off the track but if you're careful it is ok.

I bought this dishwasher about 3 weeks ago based on so many positive reviews. From a noise standpoint, it is fairly quiet. Pretty much the only thing you hear is the swishing of the water. The dishes and silverware have come out clean. As some people have said, even with the Heat dry setting on, there is still some moisture on some of the items on top rack. The one annoying thing is that the Indicator light that shows that unit is running is already not working. It appears that there is some kind of short in the light because it flickers on and off. For as much money as this is, I would have expected better. I will be call KitchenAid and hope that this is not a painful process to get fixed.

Quiet operation and easy to use.

Comments about KitchenAid Architect Series Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

I purchased this dishwasher online, site unseen, because I knew that I wanted another Kitchenaid dishwasher. I used to have kitchenaids for years, and then purchased a different brand when we remodeled our kitchen. That one only lasted a few years, and I told my husband, I am going back to Kitchenaid, after that one broke for the third time. We are all so happy with my purchase. It is much larger much quieter, and more energy efficient.

    Sparkling and Squeaky Clean!

    By

    from Lenexa, KS, United States

Comments about KitchenAid Architect Series Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

We've run a dozen or so cycles in our new dishwasher now and are marveling how clean the dishes, glasses and tools get. Our old GE didn't come close to the performance we now get with our Kitchenaid. What a difference! The wine and drinking glasses sparkle and the dishes are squeaky clean!

    This dishwasher does Everything

    By

    from Eagle, ID, United States

Comments about KitchenAid Architect Series Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

This dishwasher replaced a very old kitchen aid and all the new features were more than I thought I'd ever have. Very easy to adjust to any type of wash dry cycle that I need. Also very quiet. I can't imagine ever being disappointed enough to want to replace it for another brand.

We bought a few weeks ago and it is great. Looks pretty in my kitchen. Runs so quiet that you gave to touch it to see if it is on. Could't be happier.

Superior cleaning and simplicity of usage

    By

from Huntington Beach, CA, United States

Comments about KitchenAid Architect Series Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

This was actually my second choice based on the first one being damaged in delivery. Upon visiting the store after the return of the initial purchase we reconsidered after reviewing the Kitchenaid and decided that its design and features were superior even though more expensive than the original choice which was a good machine and less money. We are pleased that we did as the Kitchenaid is easy to use and produces spotlessly clean dishes. We are very happy with our decision.

    I hate this dishwasher!

    By

    from Roanoke, AL, United States

Comments about KitchenAid Architect Series Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

I am a Kitchenaid super fan; I love their products. We had a Kitchenaid Pro Series before this and it was great. We bought this dishwasher 3 months ago and I cannot imagine using it for another year, much less another 10 years. I have standard 9" plates and they are too tall for this dishwasher(the middle rack spinner hits my plates during the cycle). My cups and bowls don't come clean on the second rack, even after I prerinse. The third rack is completely useless. The trays are unstable and slide around. We were so excited to get this dishwasher, it has been such a disappointment.

    unhappy

    By

    from Lyons, OR, United States

Comments about KitchenAid Architect Series Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

Unhappy with the amount of moisture left in the machine after cycle complete. We run it at night and the next morning (10 hrs later) I have to dry the top around the rubber seal with a paper towel every morning because of the moisture there, and also on the door itself still has moisture on it. Not happy about the length of time it takes to run a cycle 3 hours on pro wash & dry. Way to long if your having a large family dinner and need to do several loads.
