We replaced two wall a/c units with two of these. Since the voltage was 220, it narrowed the selection down only one unit: this one. It cools wonderfully as the rooms are large. Very powerful but quiet! The remote control unit is really nice too. The only disadvantage is that the digital temperature readout and controls are at the top of the unit, and since the wall unit is installed high on the wall, you can't read it unless you stand on a chair. We are very happy with these units!

These two air conditioners replaced a Fridgidair that conked out on me after only 3 years, and an existing unit that was from 1964, but still worked!! (Another Fridgidair died after only 2 years, but was under warranty.) They fit perfectly in the sleeves without the extra trim, and cool beautifully. When I can afford it I am going to purchase another one for my bedroom and switch the existing Fridgidair to the guest room.

Bought as a replacement for a GE model 12 yrs old.Hope this one last as long. Disappointed in the way the front panel attaches, just kinda hangs, and held with a couple screws. Old model with about the same front snapped tight. ABT was the highlight. [...] Able to obtain this product when other's had 90 day back order. Thank you!
