Mitsubishi 3D Adapter, Model 3DA1

There are a variety of 3D sources with many 3D signal types. The Mitsubishi 3D Adaptor converts the most common types of 3D signals into the signal type Mitsubishi 3D DLP Home Cinema TVs are designed to display. Most 3D Blu-ray player signals, 3D Satellite Receiver signals, 3D Cable Box signals can be connected to a Mitsubishi 3D DLP Home Cinema TV with the adaptor for an immersive 3D experience. The 3DA-1 is designed for Mitsubishi 3D Ready and 3D TV owners that already have compatible 3D glasses and would like to connect an additional 3D source.

Does what it supposed to

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This product works great with my Mitsu. 65". The only issue to be prepared for is both a pro and a con. My TV detects the converter and automatically switches my video setting to "Game" which is GREAT for 3D as it washes the screen in preparation for the "darkening" caused by the glasses (these settings cannot be manually tweaked for 2d content). But the issue is if you plan to watch or play 2D content the screen will still be washed. So what I have done was run an Opt Out cable from my PS3 to my surround for audio and I switch the PS3 HDMI from the converter to the 3rd input on my TV directly if I want 2D content so my picture settings can be fine-tuned. Works GREAT!

A must have for current 3-D standards

I can plug my Fujifilm W3 3-D camera directly into this adapter via mini HDMI to HDMI cable and see my 3-D photos in 3-D using the camera for playback. Also 3-D videos shot on the camera.

Beautiful, Sharp 3D

I checked both fast and difficult setup b/c plugging everything in the right ports was easy, but, I had to call Mitsu customer support to figure out why after exactly 7 seconds, the signal would drop. All I had to do was hold down the power button on the TV (Mitsu WD73C10) for 10 secs which allows for the circuit to reset and it works PERFECTLY!!
