My wife and I looked long and hard for a good looking stainless steel microwave to match our new kitchen. I also wanted a technically well made unit (I am an engineer) and was pretty fussy about a brand and model. We also wanted an over-the-range unit which would actually extract and the extendible extractor on this unit did not disappoint. We initially had a small problem with the unit (interior light) and the help I received from LG went way beyond what one might expect from a manufacturer. I'd recommend this unit (and brand) to anyone who asked me.

23 months. I called ABT and they were very nice
but said it is not under warranty and suggested I
call LG. I called LG and they said sorry-can't help. I think a microwave should last nore that 2 years. I am going back to a GE. Never liked this microwave.

Love the warming feature and extend a vent. The only thing I miss is that my old microwave had some pre-set shortcuts (like pressing #1 for automatic 1 minute on high). Other than that, the reheat & defrost settings work great and it pairs beautifully with my new stove & refrigerator from LG

I purchased this microwave along with an LG counter depth fridge and double oven. I really like the extenda vent and that the controls are on the bottom of the microwave oven versus the side. I did remove the metal rack as I really couldn't fit some taller items in the microwave with it in. I do use the rack though when I'm using my large square plates as they fit on the carousel but don't clear the door in the rotation. I have yet to have a burned bag of popcorn. The settings are very intuiative and easy to use. The design of the microwave is very appealing and thus far has been trouble free.

My wife and I both love our microwave oven. The intelligence built in to this appliance is simply amazing. It knows how long and at temperature to cook, reheat, and defrost simply by entering a few criteria. The size of the oven is large and will hold virtually anything . Highly recommended. I wish the under-cabinet light were a little brighter.

We bought this LG microwave along with matching LG range and dishwasher in January. We looked at a lot of products and read a lot of reviews before choosing the LG appliances. So far we're very satisfied with this microwave. The many features and settings are great. The extenda vent is a handy feature when cooking on the large front burners of the range. The melt and soften settings work perfectly. All in all, very satisfied.

I got it about a month ago and have been using it almost daily since the ret of my kitchen was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy. It's really uncanny how the sensor control works - the oven figures out how long to cook or reheat whatever is inside. I love the sleek look with the controls on the bottom, not the side. Very pleased.
