I put it in the kitchen which is the hottest room in the house figuring that was all it could handle. I left it on all night with the door to the living room and dining room open and next morning all 3 rooms were low 70's(90* outside).

It cools quickly and I like the fact that the air adjustments move in many directions to control where the airflow goes. It is a bit noisy, even on low, but it cools my living room, dining area (about 350 sq. ft) quickly on low and on high for those 100 degree days we just had

For the money this is worth the investment. It is a little loud, but all window units are. It works best if you leave it on all day/night instead of turnign it on and off. I wish it had a timer or an energy saving mode, but other than that I'd buy it again at the low price I paid.

We wanted something without digital controls. I looked around for a bit and found this one. We are happy with it- cools the room well at a reasonable speed. A little loud when on highest fan speed, but not unbearable. Great dealing with ABT- I'll be back!

We use this product in our bedroom and like the fan noise (we live near a highway and this keeps us from hearing night traffic). We run the fan in the unit every night (even in winter). It has a fan only mode that is a must for our needs.

It cools better than our old unit of a different brand and cost less than the old unit purchased over 10 years old.

This unit does not have good air flow direction control. It just blows strait out, regardless how much the vents are adjusted. If this won't be an issue, than buy it. Remember, it's a window a/c, it's loud. No louder than any other, but loud just the same.

Wrong color. Says it's white but looks very gray. One side of the wheels to adjust the vents is very hard to move and the air conditioner looks uneven. It's very noisey when turned on high. Would not buy this again.

This A/C is a replacement for my A/C that quit cooling. It's much less noisy than the LG 8000 BTU unit that this replaced. With outside air temps in the high-mid nineties this unit (set on MEDIUM COOLING and the TEMPERATURE set at 5 1/2) cools my art studio that's 16 x 20 feet with a cathedral ceiling of 12 feet.
