Good for apartments or smaller kitchens. The fridge has a good amount of space, especially for people w/o children. It's stainless steel and it was a great price. No real complaints yet. BTW, ABT has great customer service. They ran out of another fridge I originally ordered and upgraded me for free to the stainless fridge, the other fridge wasn't stainless steel:)

Comments about GE Stainless Steel Top-Freezer Refrigerator:

Freezer was purchased as a 2nd fridge for a recently finished basement. Criteria was modest price, stainless steel, ample freezer space, and energy star compliant. This fit all the criteria. More freezer space in this than my 23 cu.ft. french door counter depth fridge in the main kitchen. Had it for about a month now, so far so good.

Only potential downside is that it is a bit more noisy than I anticipated. Not terrible, and I guess it is all relative, but it does catch my attention each time the compressor goes off.

But overall for the price, would def recommend.

The product is great. It keeps all of my food fresh and cold. I have an ice maker now which the abt installers took care of for me. It is an energy star and it runs quiet. I am very satisfied with my new refigerator. thanks ABT.

Service and delivery comments:

Due to my circumstances I needed a quick delivery of my product. They fit me in and my delivery was very prompt and professional. They called early in the morning and gave me a window of when they would be there. They were on time and very efficient with their installation. I couldn't ask for better service. They guys were nice and did their job well. This is why I buy everything from ABT. They truly have the best store in the world.

I love how this refrigerator looks and performs. It holds the temperature consistently and seems to be very well/solidly made. My only problem is that it's noisier than I expected it to be. The freezer fan motor makes an audible sound that is just loud enough to be really annoying. I fixed the problem by stuffing towels between the back of the refrigerator and the wall. That dampened the sound down to an acceptable/quiet level. Now that the sound problem is fixed I LOVE this refrigerator. I didn't need an expensive refrigerator with a lot of bells and whistles. This is a simple model that suits my needs perfectly.
