I have had this phone for almost two years. it is the best phone yet. I don't need a smart phone. I can go to my PC to get e-mails and facebook. I bought it for calls and texting. Not easy to text on flip phones. Just wish they had the same phone with a larger screen like smart phones have. No paint chipping. I bought a clear case for it.

I love this phone! I've had this phone for probably about a year now, and haven't had any troubles. I've read some other reviews, like how the touch screen doesn't work when you slide open the key board... but mine works perfectly fine. Most of the problems people are writing about are personal ones that involve only their phones. Either that, or mine is the only one they manufactured that works correctly. But, overall this phone has a very easy to use key board, all the tools and things you need, and has good sound quality. I would definitely recommend it for you :)

I love this phone! The texting is great. I love viewing my texts in the conversation mode instead of an inbox/outbox/sent folder. My phone, however, screwed up when we set our clocks back an hour. It would say I received my texts a half hour later than the time I received them. It was weird... The paint on the phone isn't very durable. My phone hasn't gone through any major drops, but the paint has chipped severely. The camera is pretty good, considering it's a phone camera. 3 megapixel cameras are hard to find in a phone. The battery life lasts about two days, sending a little bit over 500 messages, with silent mode on! (Vibrate mode uses a third of your battery) The alarm clock feature is good, too. You can personally design the home screen with different Widgets (alarm clock, pic slideshow, music player, calender, ect.). The music player is awesome. You do, however, have to buy special headphones for it, though. I put music from iTunes on a microSD card. The phone hasn't had a problem yet with the music player. Overall, this phone is a great one! I wouldn't recommend this to adults (I would suggest a smart phone for them!), though. But if this is your first phone, or if you are a teenager, this is a great product to try out!

Bought this phone over a year ago for my wife. We have 2 boys under the age of 6 and she would often let them play games, take pictures and entertain themselves with the phone and it took the abuse in stride and kept performing as well as the day it was received. Great phone for those who don't want/can't handle a smartphone. Easy to use and navigate menus.

This phone was our teenage daughter's (Bri) first with texting. The styling captured her interest, as well as her firends,, a couple of whom then purchased thier own. The interaction and menu feathures are intuitive, which was important in allowing her to figure out how to take full advantage of this thoughtful, feature packed phone. Despite several of her friends experiencing constant performance issues using competitor's phones, Bri has enjoyed a problem-free experience for the entire years she's operated it. A home run for both daughter and parents!

I have had this phone for almost 7 or 8 months. I have never had problems with it until recently. Yes the paint was chipping from wear and usage, but I looked past that. But now, whenever I slide my phone to use the keyboard, the touch screen stops working. So I have to slide the phone shut, end what I'm doing, lock the phone, then use the touch screen without the keyboard. Simply sliding the keyboard shut does not restart the screen, so I have to always end and lock. So now it's almost like I'm using the original Vu where there is no keyboard and all touch screen. Definitely a huge disappointment.

This phone functions well and I do love it. However, the paint is chipping off on the back and some of it has worn off already. I have only had this phone for 6 months and I have to use it for another year and a half before I can get a new one when my contract is up. The functional quality of this phone is pretty good but the cosmetic quality is very poor.

The LG VU GR700 is so much better than the LG Xenon GR500. I find it much easier to use and the screen just blows me away evertime I unlock it. The camera is amazing. My hand is shaky but the phone still takes wonderful pictures. Overall, this phone is GREAT.

i've had 2 previous lg touchscreen phones and by far.. this one is the best! not having any real issues, battery life could be better but otherwise this was a good choice for me.
