No like towels or rugs

Comments about GE GFWN1100LWW White Frontload Washer:

Product is quiet and uses little water. Product goes off balance when washing towels and can take up to 2½ hours. Going off balance made the machine break while under warranty. It cannot wash rugs, even small ones. Has mildew smell that will not go away. After 2½ years, we traded it (and the dryer which was very good) for a large capacity top loader that doesn't smell, isn't high efficiency but can wash towels and rugs without going off balance or taking over 2 hours to wash.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    The first time I washed my white clothes, they were visibly more clean than from my previous washer. I love the large capacity, the reduction in how much detergent I use and hoe dry the clothes are after spinning. It definately reduces the time in the dryer.
