A hose is a hose is a hose. We needed this to go with the new dehumidifier to dry out our basement. We didn't use it, though, and just captured the water in the appliance. But we envision using it in the future and the hose will make it more convenient by not having to empty the reservoir all the time.

A hose is a hose. This one is priced about the same as hoses available locally [...] with the dehumidifier so I have nothing about which to complain. One suggestion, however: If the hose were black, brown or clear it would go a lot better with the decor in living areas. Green and white doesn't exactly fade into the family-room carpet.
