Machine holds amazing amount. my full laundry basket fits EASILY with room to spare. I am doing fewer loads, and clothes are clean and smell fresh. have not had a problem with water level. Clothes come out like they have been thoroughly wet, and then thoroughly spun, so they are easy to dry in the drier. I struggled with this purchase, since I read so many critical reviews of the technology, but I am very happy with the washer.
the sounds it makes are unusual, different than an agitator washer, but they are not a problem Noise level is somewhat less than my old machine.

I was worried about getting A HE washer because of reviews I read about some of them not getting clothes clean. Not a problem with this washer. I have several cats and a dog, and I volunteer at an animal shelter, so I need a washer that can keep up. I also like that it is energy efficient and uses low amounts of water. I've noticed an improvement in my water usage already.

So far after three weeks it seems like I got a great buy. Four stars is only because it's still new.

The washer cleans well, is very efficient with water and detergent and the capacity is excellent. Even with the large capacity, the weight/water sensor is an awesome feature for when you have just one or two items that need washing.

The weird noises when it starts up take some getting used to. It also seems to shake a lot when it spins but I may just need to level the legs. Until I get around to it I'll assume it's operator error and not the washer itself.

I like the large range of cycle options as well.

This is a really great washer. For those looking at front-loaders that are high efficiency, don't pass up this one. In my last house, I had another Whirlpool front-loader and it worked great. This one is just as good. Also, with a front-loader you usually have to buy a pedestal to make it a normal height. No extra cost here. My only quasi-negative comment is that it's a little louder than I expected. If it's in your basement or behind a closed door, you won't hear it.

I love my new washer! It has no agitator in the way, get clothes very clean, and quite dry (from the spin). The only drawbacks are that I wish it were faster, and a bit quieter (It's not THAT loud, but it's louder than I expected it to be for a new HE model.)
