I have had 3 of these to keep near my sewing machine for pressing seams for quilting/piecing (I dropped them was reason for replacing - not iron malfunction). This is the only style iron I have ever had that didn't leak - have spent $$$ for irons in the past and have had several ruined quilts because they all leaked. I do use a full size iron (without steam) for larger areas, but this little Rowenta is just perfect for ironing those smaller seams.

This should be a wonderful iron and it was for a while. The first one I had, the handle broke. The second one was a gift from my husband for christmas as it's hard to use when the handle won't stay up. I would not have purchased another as my friends handle also broke. This one quit heading after a couple weeks. On a good note I give abt 5 stars for their customer service. The rep was courteous and gave me a return number and emailed a return label. We sent it ups on a Mondsay and I had a new one the following Friday.Thank you abt.

Comments about Rowenta First Class Purple Travel Iron:
I have four irons and all of them have cord problems. It is just my husband and I. This has to be a design issue. I keep buying them because I like the iron. Someone please advise if you are having the same issue. Thanks

It irons the smallest Barbie Doll Dress, to the triple extra large dress, pants, shirts, it irons wrinkles out in one glide and gets into the tiny places like no other iron I've used, and believe me, I've used a lot!
Iron is great and arrived quickly

Stays on most of the day when quilting, would be nice if it had auto shut off.

Happy Ironing with this compact traveler

I new I would love it when I tried it at my recent Quilting Retreat, and I do. Was so anxious to get it and tried it right away. The handle folds down and makes it nice and compact to be able to take on the road. Recommend it to all quilters whether they travel or stay at home.

Excellent size and power

Works wonderfully. My first one just died and wouldn't come back on. I ordered this one and it's a champ. Stays on and irons and steams well
