This iron is awesome! It's very easy to use; it has multiple settings and adjusts pretty fast. I am always on the go and before I use to take 30 minutes to an hour to press my clothes, (I can't stand wrinkles) but with this iron I've gotten it done in as little as 15 minutes. This iron is a little on the large size but is very light weight and easy to maneuver. I would highly recommend spending the extra money and getting this outstanding iron.

Nice light weight iron. I've owned Rowenta since they first were develop. I'm a seamstress and need the powerful steam and heat. This is the worst one I've ever purchased. I purchase this one three months ago, then returned it, due to the water from the steam vents was just coming out in heavy quantity, then I thought it was a diffective, so I returned and repurchased the same model, and the same thing happened. Takes to long to heat up.

BEST IRON EVER!
By LODY G

About Me Homeowner
really irons out wrinkles in heavy cotton dress shirts of which i have many. i actually enjoy ironing and save hundreds in dry cleaning dress shirts for work.
One small problem
from Alexandria, VA
Seems like a good iron, but the water level indicator is too dark/grey and it is difficult to see the level of the water.
I would not buy this product again
from Red Oak, Texas
always heard how great Rowenta Irons are, not the case. Second iron they replaced leaks, rust, spits out white calcium deposits. Iron just quit, again, only a few months old. Instuctions say use tap water, but Rowenta says use Spring Water, spring water rust the iron, which it did. they do not recommend distilled water for the iron. Save your money and your clothes, DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
AWESOME PRODUCT !!!

I use this in my sewing room, heats fast and lots of steam !
This iron is a leaker!
from San Rafael, CA
The reason I buy Rowenta irons is because they get hotter than other irons; however, the big drawback is that they leak, I don't care what model you buy, they all leak! I have had 3 Rowenta irons, I will never, ever buy another.

Rowenta Pro Master DW8080 Steam Iron
By Gospel Storyteller

I had other Rowenta Steam Irons but none compares to this one. It reminds me of a professional laundry steamer for clothes.
My first Rowenta and I love it.
About Me Professional
Although this iron is heavy compared to other less expensive brands, the results make it worth it.

The Rowenta Model DW8080 was sent to me after I had had numerous problems with the DX8200. I was without an iron for quite some time while the repair service supposedly fixed it, only to have the same problem with it three months later. Apparently, they decided the DX8200 was not worth fixing and sent me the DW8080. It worked okay for about 10 months, and now it won't heat up at all. I am a seamstress so do use the iron a great deal, but do not misuse it. I will not purchase a Rowenta iron again. I paid [$] (in Canada) for the DX8200 and feel that, for that price, an iron should last about 10 years or more. I can't justify paying that much money again for something that won't even last a year or is constantly in for repair. I had high hopes for this iron, but will have to find another option.
