One thing I really dislike about it is that the door of the refridg swings completely open all the time you open it, whereas my other refridg could stoppartially when you were just putting something away that did not require the door to be fully opened. But I do LOVE the compartments of the bottom freezer. Alsothe temperature controls are too far forward, and get in the way of tall pitchersor bottles. But overall, it is a good product.

This refrigerator was purchased as a replacement. I was limited by height so this was the only option I had. It is a good looking refrigerator but it is quite small. The crisper drawers don't hold very many fruits and vegetables and the shelf space is limited.I was told an icemaker wasn't available on this model but after delivery I saw there was a place for one but there wouldn't be much room in the freezer if it were installed.Overall, this will go in to the garage as a second refrigerator when we remodel. It's very noisy too which isn't good in an open kitchen/family room.

Love the bottom freezer feature!
from Regina, SK, Canada
We purchased this product a year ago and have been very satisfied with the refrigerator. I am enjoying the bottom freezer, with its pull out second bin. It holds a lot of food! The ability to change the shelves in the fridge to suit my needs is another great feature.

Perfect size for condo living.

Bought this refrigerator this year and the size is perfect for a predetermined size for condo living. Storage space is good and the shelves are adjustable. Works perfectly and I can barely hear the motor working.
Great Looking Fridge with Great Functionality
By Johhny the destroyer
I love the fridge, just make sure not to accidentally leave any doors open as the motor will burn out quick and Kitchen Aid is not easy to deal with when trying to replace a product that is more than a year old.
The actual fridge seems to work OK although there are loud bangs and gurrgles. I threw out two of the glass shelves as there were way too many. Hard to fit tall bottles when the next few shelves leave only 4" of space. The crispers are waaaay to small. You can hardly fit anything in them and they come right out when pull them open. There should be a stopper which keeps the drawer attached to the fridge. The silly long thin drawer meant for meats and cheese is a waste as the food goes so far to the back, you can't see what you have.

I had to replace my fridge and this model suited our needs.I really like it and it is easy to clean it too.

We love our KitchenAid refrigerator. The bottom freezer with pull out drawer is easily accesssible and very roomy. The 2 crispers are good and deep and we love the full width deli drawer. So far we can't find a thing we don't like about it. We had purchased the matching stove the previous year and like it very much as well.

We purchased this stainless steel model several months ago to replace a white top freezer model of an equivalent total size. The space for our fridge had a hight limit which this model just fitted! The bottom freezer is larger and easily accessed. However, the refrigerator section is slightly smaller. Volume wise this is not an issue but the reduced hight means that once the shelves are adjusted to hold milk and OJ cartons and other similar items the remaining shelves have very low heights. If we had more space we would have opted for the next size up. Also on compressor start up there is a slight noise that disappears while running. Apart from that the unit runs very well.
Best available in this size
When our fridge died unexpectedly last year it didn't seem that big a deal, it was old enough that repairing the compressor made no sense. So off I went to 5 or 6 good appliance stores thinking I would have a wide variety of fridges to choose from. I couldn't have been more wrong! Because we knew appliances are somewhat standardised in size, we had our custom kitchen cabinets built around and above the old fridge. Apparently since we last purchased a fridge, the industry has shifted to MUCH taller units! After measuring the fridges in store, I would often be left with 1 or 2 models to choose from and they were often the cheapest models, both in price and look.Towards the end of the day, I walked in to the last store and told the salesman point blank: I need a fridge no taller than 66.5". He said, "I know exactly what you need" and he showed me this Kitchenaid. The appearance was exactly what I wanted, stainless steel and simple. Freezer on bottom is a godsend for us taller people who actually like to see what's in our fridge. The interior is well laid out and a little deeper than our old unit so it actually has more useable space. We also love the cold cuts drawer on the bottom, it gets used far more than we expected.Build quality seems on par with much more expensive models. You can feel it for yourself when opening drawers (they slide much better) and in the quality of the plastics. The stainless steel on the front also seems of much better quality than our old fridge as it cleans really easily and is magnetic, which I'm told signifies better quality. This fridge also came with a much better warranty than other models in its price range so that was the deal maker. Bought it on the spot and had it delivered the next day.The only complaint I have is very minor: I wish it was LED lighting inside. I work in lighting so I know it wouldn't add significant cost but it would be great to see a manufacturer offer them across their entire product line and not just the higher end models.

I brought the KitchenAid refrigeratoir about six months ago and we are very satisfied. There is a lot of space in the top part and also in the freezer.
