I really enjoy this washer a lot. If you are will to spend the extra $50 get the one with the timer so you know how long the loads will take because there is no way of telling. My clothes come out super clean and it it about as quiet as any other top load washer. it is also very light and easy to move and adjust. I have not noticed a big jump in my electric bill either which was the ultimate concern. My only issue was when I first started using it I thought the sensor wasn't working because the lid would lock them unlock but I realized I was just being impatient.

I replaced a front loading washer which was VERY quiet, so I knew a top loader would be louder. But I did not anticipate all the clicks, bangs, drum noise, etc. It's considerably noisier than a regular top loader with an agitator. If it wasn't such a hassle to return it, I would.

I purchased the Cabrio since it does not have a center agitator. It is 18 months old, out of warrantee and the lid lock will not work, therefore the washer will not work. I only use it once or twice a week. I have had washers for 20 - 30 years without problems. This one also takes a long time to wash, much longer than other washers. Very disappointed in this machine. I doubt Whirlpool will stand behind this product unless I buy an extended warrantee. 18 months and not working is not acceptable.

this is a great product. This is my first HE Washer and I'm so impressed with how much better it cleans over my old standard washer, plus I love that they have a dispenser for the liquid fabric softener (no longer do I have to listen for the rinse cycle to add it!!) The only thing I would add is that they should have an override setting for the water level... I like to wash my heavier vinyl shower curtain a couple of times in hot bleach water before I replace it. I haven't tried it yet but I'm afraid that the water level might not be high enough to clean it the way it would need to be. Plus with the fact that it's clear rather than colored, it might throw the sensor off.

This product performs well. First time I used it I was startled by the noisy clicks when it changes cycles. However, the noise is tolerable since it performs so well.

I haven't purchased a new washer for twenty years, so the economical features and computerized "ease of use" with this washer blew me away! The only disadvantage of this product is the amount of noise the washer makes as it goes through the cycles. (This would not be a disadvantage if installation is in a basement or remote part of the house, but my laundry room is adjacent to my living room). Many variable options for speed of spin,water temperature, type of items being washed, and amount of soil. The soap, fabric softener, and bleach dispensers are fool-proof. The machine looks sleek and modern, and is a pleasure to use.
