This coffee maker brews excellent coffee and is very easy to use. The drawbacks are that it's not very aesthetically pleasing and there are multiple pieces to clean each time, but for the quality of coffee it's worth it. I only wish the pot was a little bigger because we drink a lot if coffee in our house.

By far the best coffee maker I've owned. The coffee tastes wonderful, because of the perfect water temperature, no doubt. A little difficult to pour from thermos without spilling, but otherwise perfect.

The coffee is not bitter, and the stir attachment is great. It actually adds depth of flavor when you go to pour into your cup. I wish it had a timer, and I wish it would stay hotter in the carafe.

Having used a capresso for years, which was a good coffee maker, this one is much better. One, it brews hotter, and second it simply makes better tasting coffee. the beans get more contact with the water.

We have tried everything from a basic Black and Decker, to a
Viking ( tried 2 of the Vikings and had bad luck with both ).
TheTechnivorm KBT-741 is a quality coffee maker that's easy to use and makes the best coffee.
We have found no need for a timer , and enjoy the process of making fresh coffee every morning .

I am so glad to know that my favorite site,ABT, now has this coffee maker! This brewer makes a full bodied cup of coffee in the European style. I have used mine for six years without a single problem. No other coffeemaker I have owned can compare. In my opinion, a good morning begins with excellent coffee. Technivorm delivers!
