Panasonic has slipped

This is my 3rd Panasonic convection Microwave. My old ones were fantastic machines that I used all the time instead of a regular oven. I bought Panasonic because they used to be reliable and definitely well made. Before a month on this model was up, the first one blew its magnetron. ABT replaced it with a brand new machine, no questions asked. The new machine also blew its magnatron after 2 months. ABT told us they would fix it, but we then found out that the magnatron is on back order for 3 weeks and then increased it to 6 weeks. See a pattern here? We called back ABT and they are giving us another microwave of another brand as I do not trust Panasonic any longer. My old Panasonics blew their magnatrons after 10 years of constant use. That is really good quality....not anymore!

Wonderful Oven - Very Pleased

Replaced my 12 yr old microwave with this wonderful oven. Not much of a learning curve to discover how great the convection cooking is. I haven't used my regular oven since I purchased this one. I love using the combination method of cooking a frozen item for fast meals. Highly recommend this very roomy and modern looking oven!
Looks great, problems out of the box

This is by far the best bang for the buck when it comes to convection microwaves. Out of the box my installer put it in with no issue, went to open the door and nothing. Tried numerous times and the door would not open. Called ABT and they replaced it no questions asked. New unit opens and works just fine. The 10 second increments takes a little getting used to. If I want to heat something for 5 seconds, I have to sit by the microwave and prematurely stop it when it is at 5 seconds. A little odd. I wish they had a way to customize it for 1 sec. 5 sec. or 10 sec. intervals.

Great improvement over the Viking MW Convection Oven we had before - it is quiet, easy to use, does a great job at even defrosting and microwaving. The convection oven works like a charm, heats up quickly and evenly. Having no problems at all with keeping the interior or the platter clean, just take reasonable steps to avoid splatter. No regrets!

Hard to keep clean

I have owned several microwave/convection ovens and really wore them all out. I thought when I bought this one that being a Panasonic it would last me awhile. The ceramic turntable is a nightmare to keep clean, glass would have been much better. I do have to say it does a remarkable job of baking, but I wouldn't buy it for that reason alone. I think there are better products out there and I will try one of those. Expected more from Panasonic.
