The oven is about two years ago. It cooks beautifully and the blue interior cleans nicely. BUT the stove top wears badly -- the oven looks as if it is 15 years old. The enamel is fragile, the gratings are worn, and the gas plates very difficult to clean. I had bought this oven knowing I would be remodeling my kitchen and expecting to keep it. My designer calls it an eyesore and I completely agree. Choose a stainless steel top!

Precise temperature in oven. Love the gas cooktop. The 'power plus burner' is a definate advantage! Heats items up quickly.

I do a lot of baking and roasting. This oven's temperature settings are dead on. My last oven's temperature was not precise. This one is.

I really like this stove as far as the features go. It cooks well and soon I will actually read the book to find out all the features it has. My big question to myself was "what were you thinking?? a black top???" Geez this color shows dust so you can imagine what grease or spills looks like. I must have been off my meds. I have found the best thing to do is to leave off the hood light so you can't see anything. Where can I get a cover for this??? Only 10-15 more years until I can justify buying another color. Yea!

The only problem I have had with it thus far after 6 months of use is an oven spill problem which is not being resolved with the self clean feature. I believe this feature needs to be enhanced to clean the oven better even when the spills are bigger and involve a harder material to clean up.

cakes, all kinds, do well in/on this range. The grill pan is the best. We've had this stove for about two months. So far, so good. Cleans easy, looks great.

The stove is beautiful, but the center oval burner will not work correctly, very poor engineering, wish the was an aftermarket fix.

WELL WHERE DO I BEGIN ! I BOUGHT THE STOVE 7 MONTHS AGO FROM SEARS . I WAS DRAWN TO THE COMMERCIAL STAINLESS STEEL LOOK AND I THOUGHT LG WAS A GOOD PRODUCT , BOY WAS I WRONG ! THE STAINLESS STEEL IS RUSTING ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE STOVE AND ALSO THE OVEN FLOOR HAS CRACKED AND IS ALSO RUSTED !!! WHAT KIND OF QUALITY IS THIS ! AND THE BEST PART IS THAT LG WONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE RUSTING ON THE EXTERIOR ! ITS COSMETIC THEY CLAIM ! MY SISTER HAS HAD HER STAINLESS STEEL STOVE MADE BY SEARS FOR 5 YRS NO RUST ! IF YOU KNOW WHATS GOOD FOR YOU STAY AWAY FROM A COMPANY THAT DOESNT STAND BEHIND ITS MERCHANDISE. SHAME ON YOU LG !

Cleaning the top is a real challange. Because the surface is below the grate level by over an inch, it becomes a well for crumbs, etc. I see it as a design flaw. I love the idea of the griddle, but it takes excessively long to heat--at least ten minutes. The instruction book does not indicate the amount of time it should be heated before it is ready to use. I've gone back to a cast iron pan!
