First, I want to thank Abt [...] Your store also had the best price I could find anywhere. [...] Anyway, this vacuum cleaner just got delivered to my house earlier this afternoon. I can honestly say that it is pretty much light years ahead of the competition. The vacuum cleaner came more or less assembled with exception of the rear hose/handle assembly. It took only a few minutes to be able to unwrap those accessories and put them together. As I assembled the vacuum, I noticed all components of the vacuum seem to be built solidly. After I assembled the vacuum, I used it to vacuum my entire house. My first impressions are great! The first thing I noticed when I turned the vacuum on is that it is very quiet. I have two dogs and two cats that shed like crazy. The vacuum was able to pull a ton of hair and dirt out of my medium pile carpets. I also used the vacuum on my tile floors, and it pulled a ton of stuff off of them as well. The long tool hose, with the air brush attachment, enabled me to do my carpeted stairs without having to lug the vacuum up the stairs. As an added bonus, one has full control of the vacuum from fifteen away as the controls are built into the handle (which becomes part of the cleaning wand). The cord is long enough where I can vacuum my entire house without having to unplug the vacuum once. I never had to empty my vacuum once as the compressor feature did a great job of compacting dirt in the bin. Hopefully, this vacuum proves to be reliable.

Huge disappointment...

I researched vacuums extensively, and I even tried an expensive, popular model by another manufacturer based on rave reviews. That vacuum disappointed me in one or two areas that are vital, so I moved on to the LG LUV400T. I liked the idea of the wiper in the suction cup keeping all the dirt and dust in a ball that would empty straight into the trash without spreading billowing dust around. Unfortunately, this feature did not work at all, [...] This vac however, is designed with beautiful attention to detail. The controls include low, medium and high for the suction, there is a height adjustment that you can use with your foot, and the attachments are easy to use. It comes with quite the selection of attachment heads to use, including one that vibrates your mattress as you use it to better shake out the dust. Unfortunately, the suction of this vac is very poor, and most especially when using the hand tools. When using the upright on carpet, the suction is just ok. It fails to groom the carpet no matter the power setting or height setting. It also fails to perform edge suction although it is advertised as doing so. I must also mention that the entire wand and attachments must be put together and locked into the vac body for the upright to work. This seems like it could cause real problems down the road. The piece of plastic that holds this wand set-up into the vac body near the bottom is clear and does not look like it will withstand much. When I used the wand and attachments, the vac failed to vacuum up dirt on a couch cushion and barely managed to dust some bookshelves. When emptying the canister, dust flew everywhere, and the ball of fur and dust left in the container gets wedged under the edge of the special sweeper blade, so you have to reach your hand inside to pull it out. Gross, and especially since the wiper blade failed to keep the sides of the canister clean like it shows in the demonstration video on LG's site. This vac has a huge amount of promise to it, but it needs to go back to the drawing board. It actually damaged part of my carpet, but failed to suck up the dirt on my vinyl floors. [...] The LG vac, however, has left the taste of disappointment in my mouth. My twelve year old Hoover Wind Tunnel Anniversary Edition actually has far stronger suction, great edge cleaning, and easy to use wands and attachments. So, still looking for a new vac. ABT you rock though.

This thing has tons of sucking power and just everything about it is awesome. There are two things I will say though. 1: When you want to just use it to clean up a quick mess, you have to remove the whole extension chord to remove the wand so that the handheld starts sucking. That or just force the wand out but then its hard to get back in since the chord is in the way. 2: It is a tad heavy but that's not a deal breaker. Other than those two things, my wife and I love it.

We bought this vacuum on a friends recommendation. He suggested that we vacuum our rug with our old vacuum first, then use the LG. I was shocked. It was like it reached way down deep in the rug and pulled out the dust from the bottom. Really amazing. Cons: Sometimes suction is so great that it stops the bristles from turning...we see this on our thin rugs. Pros: Everything else.

Worth every penny! I used to replace vacuum cleaners every few months that could not hold up to daily demands. My household is filled with a Jack Russell Terrier, 2 large breed Newfoundlands and a husband who works in construction and this product easily switched from rugs, hardwood floors, furniture and window coverings. The extra long cord is perfect and the compression canister lets me clean longer before having to empty the canister. The allergy filtration is excellent. Highly recommend!

I had been shopping everywhere for the right cleaner and was getting frustrated about quality and price. Had decided to bite the bullet and get a Dyson when in the store and saw this one with the better price and features so I decided to try it. The vaccum is a little heavy but picks up great. My husband goes thru vaccum like crazy because of the dog hair. The carry pouch with the attachments is wonderful with no more where did I put it.

I replaced a windtunnel with theLUV400T. Was not expecting too much, but am extremely happy with all the features, especially the ease of going from rug to floor with just a thumb movement. Also love it does not eat my throw rugs. Have an extremely hairy dog and have to vaccuum at least once a day and it really does the job. I love the mattress cleaner, I used it to clean the top of the bed quilts, had no idea they were so dusty. This machine was engineered with overall house cleaning in mind. Love it, and would recommend to family and friends.

we have been using this vacum for about a month now and have found that it really does what it says it will. We have tried many other brands but none compare to this one. The suction is great and the fact that there are no more bags to deal with is a definate plus. It cost more and i was a more than a little hesitant to part with the funds but after using it, i have come to the conclusion that it was worth it.

The sheer power of the DualForce suction far surpasses ANY vacuum I've ever owned or tried. The vacuum, from top to bottom, is quality plus. Whoever designed the LUV400T model, equipped it with the long-awaited attachments, i.e., a cord that stretches to heaven (well, to 40 ft), an adjustable wand to get where no man has tread before, much less cleaned, and manual options you can change in a flash with one touch of a button. From hard tile flooring to carpets to infinity and beyond, this mega-powered machine is up to the task. LG really did think of everything! Personally, I LUV the HEPA filter and how great it removes pet hair. The ease of maneuverability is surprising and it's quiet! I don't have a favorite feature because I LUV them all. If you want to guarantee that your residence or work place will be thoroughly clean, this product can do it all! It may cost extra, but it is worth every penny! My first LG purchase is the LUV400T, but it will certainly not be my last.

I am really enjoying my new LG LUV400T Vacuum! I would definitely recommend this vacuum to family and friends. I had been comparing this product to many others over the last few weeks, seeing as my current vacuum had been falling apart left and right. This vacuum has the best features for the value beating the competition hands down! I am absolutely loving it and have been nothing but impressed by this product thus far! Not to mention my husband is enammered by the LED lights and the seperating blades in the collection container! Just an absolutely COOL yet functional household item, like a toy for us "Big Kids"!
