Great Deal

Comments about Sony 5.1 Channel Wall Mountable Black Home Theater Speaker System:
Setting it up was pretty easy. It was my first time setting up something like this so I thought it was gonna be complicated. A bit pricey but the sound compensates for it. I don't regret buying it.

Great Look Great Sound

Best Uses
Went thru 3 choices on my way to these. I started with a Sony DVD/receiver HTS that used my TV as the work horse. I tried a Onkyo 7.1 that was on sale. The Quality alone of that brought me back to Sony I purchased these speakers along with a Sony Dn1010 which was on sale. Bundling them saved a $100 which was nice since the $ for speaker set seemed high in my opinion. I agree with the previous review. All my apprehension went out the window once hooked up and tuned. Very Nice sound and a Very slick look. You can use the Speaker stands with either of the 4 speakersThe Sub is powerful. Overall It is a simple and cost effective way of stepping up from your entry level DVD/Recievers systems that many of us have.

WORTH IT!

I will admit it took some serious thought before convincing myself to make the purchase. The only thing I don't like about the unit is the price and that says alot. The first movie I used with them was Ironman 2 BD and it blew me away. I live in a 1st fl apt - my 2nd floor neighbor in fact later told me that the 3rd fl neighbor called to ask him to turn down his system. Having set the sub against the wall, it was pushing bass all the way up the the 3rd floor and no kidding, it was set to less than half power. But in the end it was so worth the purchase.
