Love this Hood

This range hood is just beautiful, looks much more expensive than it was....coming from the previous vented outside hood to this non-vented is no problem at all. It is a breeze to clean with just some window cleaner....it will be even more stunning when I get a new stainless stove & dishwasher. It was packaged & shipped quickly & received in top notch shape.

Broan SS 30" Hood

The ease of installation was exceptional- with one slight issue. I may have missed in the description that the venthood does not come with the power cord. My husband had to run to the local hardware store, pick one up (not a big deal, just a bit of a hassle) and I installed it with no issues whatsoever. It's gorgeous- definitely beats the heavy-looking builder's microwave special that was originally hanging up. :)

Best deal on a simple, stainless hood.

Certainly the best deal on a stainless hood out there - [...]! (And I'm a ferocious deal hunter.) This hood looks great. It is a simple, functional hood, and looks great in our kitchen. We replaced a big unwieldy microwave-hood with this, and it makes out small kitchen look MUCH better. I'm not sure of the longevity or the grade of the stainless though - time will tell - but it looks great now. One note - I night not recommend this for a high install... If you look at the hoof from underneath it doesn't look like much. The light and fan/filter are relatively exposed and the underside is basically unfinished. It's fine, and painted black, but if it were a high install and normal sightlines would allow a full view of the undercarriage, I might opt for something else.

I ordered this stainless steel Broan 413004 to match my stainless steel refridgerator. It looks very nice and matches everything in my kitchen. The fan is quiet and the lighting is located at the front of the unit which is helpful. It was very easy to install.

This item is fairly generic in design, but looks a little special because it is stainless. A nice way to get a designer touch with very little cost. Install was fairly easy.
